Frustrating phone system with rare helpful staff
The phone system is utterly inadequate. Consistently, there are prolonged waiting times, preceded by a recorded message about Ask My GP, which fails to address all appointment needs. Then the waiting begins! In my most recent experience, I endured over an hour before being abruptly disconnected and forced to redial, only to find myself eleventh in the queue! To their credit, the staff are invariably apologetic and incredibly supportive. That is, when you finally manage to reach them! The Ask My GP service itself, however, is commendable.

Transformed surgery with top-notch care and service
Exceptional medical practice! It was already decent before its renovation, but since reopening, the surgery has a warm and inviting atmosphere and appears well-structured. The staff are remarkably cordial and attentive, and the appointment booking system works smoothly (admittedly, it can get hectic and you need to act fast, but that's typical everywhere these days). I'm genuinely impressed with how professionally and effectively the practice is being managed.

I have absolutely no complaints. Throughout the past few years, the level of care provided to me and my family has been truly exceptional. While they are undoubtedly busy and getting through can occasionally be challenging, this seems consistent with most general practices across the United Kingdom. During a critical emergency, the receptionist and on-call doctor responded with remarkable speed and efficiency - it would be unreasonable to expect more from a healthcare system that is clearly under significant pressure.
