Feedback across this file reveals a practice struggling significantly with administrative and operational functions, creating substantial barriers to patient access. Appointment booking presents persistent challenges, with patients reporting difficulties reaching the practice by phone, encountering non-functional online systems, and experiencing extended waiting times both to schedule and to be seen. Reception experience emerges as a key concern, with multiple accounts of discourteous interactions, unresponsiveness, and staff appearing indifferent to patient needs. Communication failures are widespread, including delayed responses to queries, unanswered callback requests, and poor coordination between departments.
In contrast, clinical care from medical professionals receives notably more positive feedback, with patients frequently describing doctors and nurses as competent, professional, and genuinely supportive when consultations finally occur. Several patients specifically praised individual clinicians for their expertise and compassionate approach. This stark difference between clinical and administrative performance suggests the practice's core challenge lies in its organisational systems and front-facing staff rather than the quality of medical care itself.
Patients express frustration that accessing healthcare should not require such persistent effort, and many report the experience as emotionally draining. The combination of booking difficulties, communication breakdowns, and reception discourtesy has led some patients to seek alternative providers, despite acknowledging the competence of the medical staff. Systemic improvements to appointment access, phone responsiveness, and administrative coordination appear essential to address the widespread dissatisfaction evident throughout the feedback.

Bad!
Frustrating wait and unhelpful doctor visit
Why does this general practitioner constantly redirect my child to the pharmacy. What's the purpose of a GP if they keep sending me elsewhere? It seems pointless. Children are delicate and require direct medical attention from a physician, not a pharmacist. The staff there lack professionalism, and I absolutely despise being in that environment. This situation is completely unacceptable. They're failing to provide patients with proper care when they're feeling unwell. Appointments are delayed for weeks, and their only advice is to call 111 if symptoms persist. This doctor is an absolute mockery of medical practice. These physicians are utterly incompetent and don't merit even a single star of recognition.

Unwar helped solve my medical complaint
Unwar, the practice manager, is truly exceptional. He handled my complaint with great skill and ensured no further problems arose. I'm incredibly grateful for his support. I hope he continues to train new staff as the medical practices combine.

Appointment nightmare that crushed my hopes
I scheduled a critical appointment a month in advance and rearranged my entire schedule to make it work. When I arrived, they informed me that my appointment was canceled! This establishment shows absolutely no consideration for their clients! They demonstrate complete indifference to patient needs! My ongoing mental health challenges are being severely exacerbated by the immense stress they're causing, to the point where I'm experiencing serious emotional distress! They desperately need to overhaul their staff or simply shut down entirely! Getting an appointment after waiting a month is like winning a lottery, but even then, you must hope it doesn't get canceled! And if you do manage to get an appointment, be prepared to wait an additional hour beyond your scheduled time! This is pure emotional torment! Please stop treating patients this way!

Wasted hour trying to reach customer support
Spent a frustrating 20 minutes waiting on hold, with the first 10 minutes in a queue and the next 10 minutes of complete silence, with no representative ever answering my call.

Ignored uti led to hospital nightmare
A while back, I was a patient at this medical practice. Scheduling an appointment was always a challenging ordeal, strictly adhering to their prescribed calling method. When I finally reached the reception, they dismissed my UTI symptoms (which included blood) as non-urgent and instructed me to call again later. My attempts to secure a GP consultation were consistently unsuccessful. Eventually, I developed a kidney infection and was hospitalized. I persisted in trying to get medical attention whenever my condition allowed. The situation escalated until I was so critically ill that an ambulance was required to transport me to the hospital, and I was losing consciousness. I believe my experience represents yet another instance of how women's health concerns are frequently overlooked and minimized, simply because certain symptoms are considered typical for women.

Poor!
Long wait times and unhelpful staff
After reading previous reviews, I felt compelled to share my own experience. Echoing other customers, the front desk and administrative personnel are incredibly inefficient. Their approach of not handling clients individually results in unnecessarily long wait times for everyone. Moreover, their complete shift to online services seems counterproductive, as in-person interactions are typically much faster and more straightforward compared to waiting weeks for resolution. I'm reluctantly awarding this practice 2 stars solely due to my long-standing history with this medical practice; otherwise, I would have rated them even lower at 1 or 0 stars.

Terrible staff mistreated my elderly mom
The staff's treatment of my mother was shockingly disrespectful and inconsiderate. I was deeply disturbed upon learning how the receptionist spoke to her, showing complete disregard for her disability and advanced age.

Endless wait with zero helpful support
Getting through to customer support is an endless ordeal, with wait times stretching to several hours before you even have a chance to speak with someone. When you finally do connect, the representative lacks the expertise or desire to genuinely address your concerns. The robotic automated system somehow manages to display more empathy than the actual human staff.

Waited hours and staff didn't care
My experience at St. Paul Way Medical Centre was extremely disappointing on multiple fronts. The clinic consistently demonstrates significant shortcomings that make receiving medical care frustrating and stressful. Appointment scheduling is a nightmare, with excessively long wait times that seem endless and staff who appear completely indifferent to patient needs. Every interaction feels impersonal and rushed, with medical professionals who seem disengaged and administrative personnel who lack basic customer service skills. Communication is remarkably poor, leaving patients feeling uninformed and confused about their own healthcare. The facility itself appears poorly maintained, which further undermines any confidence in their medical capabilities. When it comes to billing, the complexity and unexpected charges add another layer of aggravation to an already unpleasant healthcare experience. I would strongly caution anyone considering this medical center to explore alternative healthcare providers who might actually prioritize patient care and satisfaction.

Online system always down at st paul's
Absolutely dreadful service. While the medical professionals themselves are competent, the administrative infrastructure is a complete disaster. Whenever my family attempts to schedule an appointment, their digital consultation and booking platform consistently fails, frequently being unavailable for entire days. Currently, the system has been non-functional both yesterday and today - St Paul's way needs to get their act together! I'm uncertain whether this is due to overwhelmed staff deliberately disabling the system or a deliberate strategy to minimize their workload. The whole situation is utterly disgraceful.

Frustrating wait for a simple fit-to-fly note
I encountered an absolutely frustrating situation with a general practitioner recently. All I required was a straightforward doctor's signature for a medical clearance document. My pregnant wife has made four separate visits to the medical practice, and each time we were shuttled around without any legitimate explanation. Two weeks have now passed, and we still haven't obtained the necessary paperwork. Our travel is imminent in just 48 hours - this level of inefficiency is completely unacceptable! I'm completely done tolerating this unprofessional and chaotic healthcare provider.

Dr Atia Ali's terrible bedside manner
The review criticizes not just the administrative team, but also highlights Dr. Atia Ali's unprofessional conduct. She comes across as arrogant and discourteous, seemingly lacking proper patient interaction skills. Despite having considerable experience in the medical field, she appears either insufficiently trained or unwilling to learn appropriate bedside manner. Her approach suggests she may be unsuited to her profession. As primary healthcare providers, GPs are crucial first-point contacts for patients seeking medical assistance, and treating vulnerable individuals with disrespect is completely unacceptable. A clinician's role demands compassion and empathy, which Dr. Ali appears to fundamentally misunderstand or ignore.

Callbacks never happened at this clinic
List of "errors": I received medical information pertaining to another patient, not myself. I sought a return call from the physician, who failed to respond and marked multiple consultation requests as resolved throughout the year (without providing any subsequent communication until I initiated another online consultation). I submitted a callback request to the reception management, which was predictably ignored. I contacted the reception desk and endured a 20-minute hold period, during which I physically traveled to the surgery while still on the line. Upon arrival, the reception area was notably unoccupied, yet the phone continued to ring unanswered. If the medical practice reviews this, I remain in anticipation of a callback from their reception staff...

Prescription nightmare left me without meds
I manage 15 recurring prescription items, and their staff is incredibly incompetent. Each time I attempt to place an order, some clueless receptionist fails to comprehend basic instructions. They consistently omit critical details, which results in me being left without essential medication. If something happens to me due to their negligence, it'll be on their hands.

Missed cancer diagnosis after years of dismissal
I've been receiving care at this medical center since childhood. Recently, I switched providers due to their persistent dismissiveness. For five years, I've been advocating for a blood test during consultations about a recurring skin condition, with doctors consistently hesitant to order the test and instead prescribing multiple steroid creams that I repeatedly emphasized were ineffective. After changing healthcare providers and receiving a comprehensive evaluation, including blood tests, I was ultimately diagnosed with blood cancer. This critical diagnosis could have been identified much earlier if the staff had genuinely listened to my concerns. I absolutely cannot recommend this practice to anyone, given their negligent approach to patient care.

Newborn's vaccinations lost in admin chaos
The actual GPs are perfectly competent and provide excellent advice. However, the administrative team is abysmal. It feels like they're deliberately obstructing patient access to medical care. We've experienced repeated instances where promised follow-up communications never materialize. This seems symptomatic of a broader systemic issue with healthcare clinics in London, where patients are constantly shuffled around without clear accountability. We've been given multiple appointment dates, only to arrive and be told the booking isn't recorded, forcing us to reschedule and repeatedly take time off work. Their administrative incompetence is almost comically frustrating. The entire admin staff needs to be completely replaced before these failures result in serious consequences. Our newborn has now fallen significantly behind on critical vaccinations due to their persistent negligence. There's a complete absence of accountability, and no apparent willingness to address the fundamental flaws in their administrative processes.
