Patient Experience Summary

Patients consistently report severe challenges accessing appointments at this practice, with extended waiting times on phone lines and unavailable slots even when calling at opening hours. The booking experience is frequently described as frustrating, with many unable to secure consultations despite multiple attempts, and some facing waits of several weeks. Reception experience emerges as a significant concern, with patients reporting discourteous interactions, poor communication, and staff appearing unhelpful or dismissive of patient needs. In contrast, when patients do access clinical care, medical professionals and nursing staff receive praise for professionalism and compassion. The practice environment is noted as clean and well-maintained. However, the administrative barriers to accessing care appear to be creating substantial patient frustration and contributing to wider healthcare system pressures, with some patients resorting to alternative services or changing providers entirely.

Communication issues extend beyond reception interactions, with patients reporting failures in appointment reminders, prescription notifications, and follow-up care coordination. Several patients describe feeling unable to reach the practice by phone, with calls going unanswered or long hold times before slots are reported as fully booked. The contrast between the practice's ability to send vaccination reminders and its difficulty in managing routine appointment access has been noted by patients as inconsistent.

While individual clinical encounters have been positive for some patients, the overall service experience is undermined by access difficulties and reception courtesy concerns. The practice appears to have experienced a decline in service quality since the pandemic, with patients noting reduced appointment availability and increased reliance on phone consultations rather than in-person visits.

Terrible service and unhelpful medical staff

They never schedule appointments and just sit around ignoring phone calls 😒 My daughter is 6, and I can't secure her biannual checkup, which shows how overwhelmed they are. I'm unsure if the medical staff simply lacks motivation to see patients. I've been trying to get an appointment for myself after years of waiting, and it's absolutely absurd. Their receptionists, especially the newer ones, are particularly unhelpful and discourteous when communicating. Sam..

Poor!

Terrible service and impossible to book appointments

Completely terrible experience. It's impossible to secure an appointment, whether by phone or in person, even when calling right at opening time. The front desk staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. It's no surprise hospitals are overcrowded when GP surgeries are failing to handle basic patient care that should be their responsibility.

Terrible service but dr omarly saves the day

Absolutely the most terrible general practitioner practice! Scheduling an appointment is a nightmare - there's never availability, and ironically, even when you secure a slot, the waiting room remains practically empty. Consultations are predominantly conducted over the phone rather than in-person. The phone waiting times are unbearable; right now, I'm caller number 4 and have been on hold for 40 minutes, which is completely unacceptable. Moreover, I've repeatedly observed the receptionists engaging in lengthy conversations and responding sluggishly to incoming calls. The sole bright spot in this entire practice is Dr. Omarly, who is genuinely an exceptional physician. He's been incredibly helpful to me and my children, demonstrating an remarkable ability to diagnose issues instantly through efficient examinations. Dr. Omarly exemplifies true professionalism and displays extraordinary compassion towards his patients.

Terrible service no appointments available anywhere

Constantly overbooked with zero availability for scheduling, they're pushing phone consultations instead of in-person visits. It's unbelievable how our tax money is being spent when we can't even get a proper doctor's appointment.

Unprofessional clinic with terrible wait times

They strictly enforce punctuality for patients, yet ironically have no problem keeping clients waiting for extended periods. Their professionalism is questionable. Each visit guarantees a frustrating wait time ranging from half an hour to well over an hour, sometimes even longer.

Terrible healthcare experience leaves patient frustrated and hopeless

Getting medical help is impossible with this system. I'm dealing with critical health issues but can't secure a doctor's appointment. The only way to try is calling precisely at 8 am, and even then, all slots vanish instantly. They just redirect you to call 111, which is ridiculous. The NHS is clearly overwhelmed, and doctors are completely ineffective at providing basic care. They might as well be removed entirely since they're completely useless at addressing patient needs.

Unprofessional service destroyed my medical privacy

Extremely disappointing service where scheduling an appointment seems impossible. They insist on using an app that's far from user-friendly. When I finally managed to get in, the doctor conducted a phone consultation right in the reception area, surrounded by other patients, completely disregarding my privacy. I was mortified, feeling like my personal medical details were essentially broadcast to everyone present. The lack of professionalism and respect for patient confidentiality was appalling.

Frustrating call back system wastes patients time

I called the surgery at 8:00 AM, and by 8:04 AM, I was already in a queue. I was offered a callback option, which I accepted. However, at 8:11 AM, the receptionist informed me that no appointments were available. When I mentioned that I had called at 8:00 AM, she apologetically stated that by choosing the callback, I had forfeited my place in line. I'm left wondering about the purpose of such a callback system if it ultimately prevents patients from securing an appointment.

Worst medical office ever terrible customer service

Completely outrageous how impossible it is to schedule a consultation here. The front desk staff are incredibly unhelpful and discourteous, constantly gossiping instead of addressing incoming calls. I wasted half an hour on hold, bizarrely being told I was first in the queue, yet getting nowhere. The entire process is so inefficient that you'd likely expire before securing an actual appointment - it's utterly disgraceful.

Horrible medical staff traumatized my pregnant wife

I attempted to schedule a medical consultation for my expectant wife, and we endured a 30-minute wait, only to be confronted by an incredibly unprofessional staff member who verbally harassed and ridiculed her before abruptly terminating the call. After reviewing other customer experiences, I'm utterly astounded that this facility continues to operate. Their complete lack of basic human compassion and professional conduct is appalling. The entire staff demonstrates a profound disregard for patient care and should be thoroughly embarrassed by their reprehensible behavior.

Worst medical practice ever, avoid at all costs

I'm new to this neighborhood, and this medical clinic is absolutely the most terrible I've encountered. I was number 15 in line, with zero available appointments. They're clearly only handling around 15 patient slots daily. I've repeatedly attempted to schedule or connect with them. Initially, when requesting a prescription transfer from my previous practice, they claimed they hadn't received the documentation. Mysteriously, the records suddenly materialized when I challenged their statement. The following month, they insisted they'd never prescribed my medication. However, after I pointed out their error, they eventually acknowledged their mistake. As someone battling significant mental health challenges who simply needs a straightforward consultation, they consistently let me down. I understand healthcare practices are under strain, but this level of incompetence is unacceptable.

Terrible medical service failing young patients completely

I would give zero stars if possible, but one is the minimum. I'm utterly frustrated with this medical practice. My daughter sought advice from the pharmacist about my granddaughter's conjunctivitis, who recommended antibiotics. When she called the surgery precisely at 8 AM, she was 27th in the queue. Despite explaining that the 15-month-old has swollen, red, and crusty eyes, she was denied an appointment and told to contact 111 or out-of-hours services. I challenged this, highlighting my previous experiences of being unable to reach out-of-hours services or 111, and was simply advised to go to the emergency department - which is completely inappropriate for a conjunctivitis case. The emergency department is for genuine emergencies, not routine pediatric care. I'm deeply concerned and angry about the practice's apparent inability to provide timely care. Their patient overload and continuous expansion seem to prioritize quantity over quality, leaving vulnerable patients like my grandchildren at risk. This situation is unacceptable and raises serious questions about potential future healthcare challenges for my family.

Worst medical experience ever terrible healthcare service

The personnel here are absolutely dreadful... The front desk staff are discourteous and show zero empathy... Their medical professionals barely pay attention to patients (though not universally true)... The entire facility is managed incompetently... They're understaffed and it's impossible to schedule appointments ahead of time. You're forced into ridiculous online consultations or must phone early in the morning. Then you'll waste an hour on hold, only to discover all slots have vanished by the time you're connected... They're completely ineffective... I would vastly prefer having the ability to book appointments in advance!!!
