Terrible customer service wastes my precious time

It's utterly disrespectful when someone initiates a phone call at 8:00 AM and monopolizes the line for nearly an hour... such conduct is completely unacceptable. There are plenty of jobless individuals available, so they should consider hiring around 5 more staff members, as this is inexcusable in a supposedly sophisticated nation.

Terrible service and uncaring staff at clinic

The receptionist was incredibly discourteous, completely unprofessional, and treated patients with unjustifiable disrespect! When I explained my child was becoming alarmingly flushed, she dismissively accused me of overreacting. ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS MEDICAL PRACTICE - the entire staff, from reception to medical professionals, demonstrates shocking incompetence and lack of basic care!

Exceptional care from a supportive medical team

I have been seeing Dr. Liam Barker at this medical practice for many years, and he has consistently provided me with exceptional, supportive care. The practitioners here have always struck me as genuinely attentive and compassionate. Recently, I received a straightforward Flu vaccination, which was effortlessly scheduled. The nurse promptly arranged an appointment within 3 days with the practice's Physiotherapist, Freddie Mathews. Although my concern was relatively minor, Freddie dedicated time to thoroughly examine my issue, providing incredibly useful guidance and recommending specific exercises to help me manage my condition moving forward. A big thank you to Freddie! And sincere appreciation to all the wonderful staff, from the consistently helpful receptionists to the Partners, who have progressively transformed this practice into the comprehensive, multi-disciplinary service it is today. Deeply appreciative - a 72-year-old patient!

Heartless doctors failed my dying husband completely

My late husband David suffered through multiple misdiagnoses by physicians at this medical facility. Following a private PET scan, we received the devastating news of his brain cancer. Not a single healthcare professional expressed regret or offered an apology. During his final days, a young GP made a home visit and bluntly informed David that his condition would continually deteriorate until his inevitable death. The manner of delivering such sensitive information was extremely insensitive and lacking in compassion.

Worst medical practice ever nightmare appointment system

After attempting to schedule an appointment by phone at 9:10 am and entering a queue, my husband remains stuck at number 3 after an excruciating 2 hours and 45 minutes (having been at this position for 30 minutes already). There seems to be no alternative method for booking an appointment. Contacting the office directly leads to the same frustrating call queue situation. A supposed new system proposed by the manager previously failed completely (involving form submission and waiting), with zero response over an entire week, and no trace of the submitted form when reception staff were subsequently questioned. Examining the practice's website provides no clarity: Screenshots demonstrate the Patient Access route, their primary site option, which simply displays a message that the GP has no available appointments. I demand this practice explain their complaint procedure in any response, as I've encountered similar issues before, and the complaint mechanism they previously suggested is clearly non-functional. I would prefer to give zero stars, but this review platform requires a rating.

Terrible medical care left me suffering needlessly

I've been battling a persistent and severe ear infection for a quarter of a year, and the prescribed antibiotics and ear drops have been completely ineffective. My ears have been continuously discharging clear fluid, and I've been experiencing debilitating vertigo that's left me feeling terrible. When I contacted my GP, the doctor's dismissive advice was simply to take Ibuprofen. After enduring this ordeal for three months, I had to forcefully advocate for myself and demand a referral to an ENT specialist. It was only when I threatened to file a complaint with the NHS that they finally took my condition seriously. Even then, they claimed the ENT Department at Homerton doesn't handle urgent referrals - which I later discovered was entirely incorrect.

Incompetent gp failed me during critical pregnancy time

I am utterly furious with this general practitioner. The service has been abysmal beyond description. They failed to properly address my Urinary Tract Infection on three separate occasions, which has directly led to my ongoing, aggressive recurrent UTIs. The fact that I'm currently pregnant seems to make no difference to their level of care or concern. Their incompetence is unacceptable. I am completely done with this practice and will definitely be switching healthcare providers immediately.

Elderly patients abandoned by uncaring medical practice

My elderly parents, aged 92 and 90, have been loyal patients at this medical practice for over four decades. Recently, they've been increasingly neglected, to the point where my mother was discovered to be vitamin deficient due to the practice's failure to conduct essential blood work. When this was uncovered, they promised a doctor would address the situation. After considerable effort, we finally obtained some basic vitamins. However, the medication caused significant discomfort, and when my mother attempted to seek medical advice, she was brushed aside for over two weeks. Eventually, someone candidly admitted that the doctor has no intention of contacting her, citing the Stoke Newington Church Street location as inaccessible and the practice being overwhelmed. I find it absolutely shocking that they would abandon two long-standing patients in their 90s during a heat wave. This treatment is unacceptably poor and demonstrates a complete lack of compassion. The fact that they've been left struggling for two weeks, only to discover they're now being refused care, is nothing short of cowardly and disgraceful.

Take a look around their spacious waiting room, designed to accommodate 30 people, which ironically sits completely vacant. It's clear that patients are being systematically ignored and turned away.
