Patient feedback reveals a deeply polarised experience at this practice, with stark contrasts between clinical and administrative service quality. Medical professionals, including doctors and nursing staff, receive consistent praise for professionalism, expertise, and compassionate care. However, reception experience emerges as a significant concern, with multiple patients reporting discourtesy, dismissiveness, and lack of respect during interactions. This disparity between clinical and administrative standards is particularly notable.
Appointment access presents the most widespread challenge across feedback. Patients describe lengthy telephone waiting times, difficulty securing slots, and frustration with booking systems. The practice has implemented online booking and callback options, which some patients report have improved accessibility, though phone-based booking remains problematic for many. Communication issues extend beyond appointment scheduling, with reports of poor phone line quality, delayed medication approvals, and inadequate responsiveness to patient concerns.
Positive feedback highlights the practice's cleanliness standards, recent facility improvements, and availability of additional services including physiotherapy and specialist referrals. Long-standing patients often express appreciation for continuity of care and clinical quality. However, these strengths are substantially undermined by persistent concerns about reception courtesy, appointment availability, and overall accessibility, which appear to be systemic issues requiring attention.

Terrible healthcare with lazy covid phone consultations
Scheduling an appointment is an absolute ordeal. Once they finally grant you a slot, they hide behind Covid protocols to avoid an in-person consultation and instead attempt a phone diagnosis!!! What kind of medical professional diagnoses patients without a physical examination? They're clearly incapable of properly checking vital signs or getting a direct visual assessment of the problem. They continue to make incorrect diagnoses via phone and show zero concern. Covid has become their convenient excuse for subpar medical care.

Terrible healthcare and discriminatory practice avoid at all costs
The most appalling and revolting medical service I've ever encountered at this GP Practice. Disrespectful, pompous, self-absorbed, and utterly useless receptionists dominate the place. Booking an appointment seems impossible! They consistently pledge to return calls, but when they do, the phone connection drops, and they smugly claim they've "completed their duty" (without any intention of making a proper follow-up). There are serious allegations of discriminatory and anti-Semitic harassment towards the local community. My strong advice is to seek out any alternative healthcare provider! The practice has already been reported to PALS and NHS England for their unacceptable conduct.

Best gp practice in london with top doctors
This is my Family GP since 1992, and I've witnessed numerous Doctors rotate through the practice. Undeniably, it is the finest GP in London. Having worked as a translator from 1992-1998, I've encountered many GP Practices. These professionals are absolute experts in their respective fields, and the entire front staff demonstrates exceptional helpfulness. I would never consider switching my GP Practice. The negative reviews deeply distress me. This GP Practice unequivocally deserves a five-star rating, and those submitting one-star reviews should feel thoroughly ashamed. All these Doctors represent the pinnacle of medical excellence Dr Dan Williams (m) MB BCh (Witwatersrand 1981) Dr Laurence Blumberg (m) MB ChB (Cape Town 1981) DCH MRCGP Dr Harriet Mitchell (f) MB ChB (Birmingham1994) DCH DFFP MRCGP Dr Claire Humphreys (f) MBchB (Sheffield) MRCGP Dr Vinay Patel (m) MBChB MRCGP (Manchester 2007) Dr Liam Barker (m) MB ChB (Manchester 2007) Dr Charlotte Foster (f) MB ChB (Bristol 1988) MRCGP Dr Sam Burden (m) MbCHB MRCGP (Warwick 2011) Dr Emma Richardson (f) MB BCh BAO 2009 (Cork 2009) Dr Li Low (m) MB BS (London 2010) Dr Rajpreet Kalsi (f) MB ChB (Warwick 2012) I extend my heartfelt gratitude to them all for their exceptional service to Hackney's residents

Avoid this gp practice at all costs
The medical practice is a complete disappointment. Scheduling an appointment is virtually unattainable, and the majority of physicians display a lack of courtesy and professionalism. The front desk staff consistently demonstrates minimal interest in assisting patients. I've made the decision to seek healthcare elsewhere and transfer my medical records to a different clinic.

Terrible customer service at medical practice
The reception staff displayed a complete lack of professionalism and customer service. When I phoned to inquire about obtaining a repeat prescription, since the online system was not working for me, I was met with dismissive and abrasive treatment. The staff member accused me of needlessly occupying their phone lines and curtly instructed me to contact my pharmacy or physically visit to complete the necessary paperwork. I was simply seeking guidance on the correct procedure, which I was unaware of, yet was made to feel like an inconvenience.

Exceptional healthcare with compassionate doctors and staff
After experiencing multiple changes in my general practitioner, I finally found my home at Stamford Hill Group Practice, and I couldn't be more thrilled. The level of care I receive is exceptional. Dr. Vinney Patel is truly outstanding - incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely attentive to patients' concerns. Dr. Barker and the receptionist Veronica are equally impressive, always going above and beyond to assist patients. Veronica in particular is incredibly helpful and never turns away anyone seeking support. If I could, I'd rate them 10 stars instead of the standard 5 - they absolutely deserve it. I've noticed some negative reviews and suspect these might just be from difficult patients looking to complain. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their remarkable service.

Exceptional healthcare with compassionate and dedicated professionals
Throughout my decades-long relationship with this medical practice—spanning more than three decades—my family and I have consistently experienced exceptional healthcare. Many of the physicians here truly demonstrate extraordinary dedication, always striving to deliver the most comprehensive and compassionate treatment possible. Additionally, I want to express my sincere appreciation for the Referrals Line staff, who have consistently demonstrated remarkable efficiency and a genuinely helpful, personalized approach to their service.

Excellent medical care with modern approach
This medical facility demonstrates remarkable progressive thinking and a thoroughly contemporary methodology. Despite being a long-time patient for over two decades, I've recently observed their impressive transformation into a modern, cutting-edge practice that fully embodies 21st-century healthcare standards.

Great healthcare from dedicated medical professionals
I am deeply dismayed and taken aback by the critical feedback. For more than two decades, our family has relied on Stamford Hill Group Practice, and throughout this time, we've consistently experienced the utmost professionalism and compassion from their medical team. The doctors, nurses, and support staff have invariably demonstrated unwavering dedication, warmth, and genuine concern. Their medical guidance is top-notch, and scheduling appointments has always been straightforward and convenient. Without hesitation, I can affirm that this is an exceptional healthcare provider.

Compassionate care for my mother's health needs
I'm thoroughly impressed with this medical practice in London, which has been exceptionally helpful in managing my mother's health concerns. The ability to consult with doctors via telephone has been incredibly convenient and supportive during this challenging time. Being able to schedule consultations remotely, without the need to physically visit the clinic, is a significant advantage. When in-person appointments are necessary, they can be seamlessly arranged. Compared to previous healthcare providers my mother has encountered, this practice has gone above and beyond in terms of care and accessibility. I am genuinely delighted with the level of service and support they have provided.

Best medical care in hackney for all ages
The medical facility has undergone a recent renovation and provides top-notch care, with convenient online and telephone consultations where physicians consistently punctual. I've recently received exceptional treatment for minor health concerns that have been successfully addressed. All blood work is conducted on-premises, and the doctors are thoroughly committed to patient care, readily referring patients to premier London specialists if additional testing or investigation is required. My entire family - spanning 18 individuals across different age groups - and I have been patients here for three decades. Undoubtedly the finest general practice in Hackney.

Frustrating pharmacy service with poor communication
I've been anticipating my medication for a fortnight, only to be informed they require a phone consultation beforehand. Why didn't they simply reach out to me? Not everyone has the flexibility to answer calls during work hours. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING !!!!!!!!!

Terrible healthcare experience at stamford hill practice
The reception personnel display an appalling lack of courtesy and professionalism. Scheduling an appointment seems impossible, and patients are consistently relegated to telephone consultations instead of face-to-face medical examinations. What people truly require are actual physicians, not counselors. The National Health Service urgently needs to reassess the performance of these general practitioners and their support staff, with particular scrutiny directed towards the Stamford Hill facility.

Worst medical experience ever terrible service
The front desk personnel display an appalling lack of professionalism, treating patients with contempt and creating significant obstacles to accessing medical care. The physicians themselves appear disengaged, emotionally detached, and more focused on deflecting accountability than providing meaningful patient support.

Horrible receptionists destroy patient's hope and dignity
The receptionists at this practice have repeatedly reduced me to tears during phone conversations, exacerbating my already fragile health and emotional state. Their callous, dismissive demeanor is utterly unacceptable. Their interactions with me have been consistently harsh, displaying a complete lack of empathy, kindness, or basic human decency. The level of rudeness they exhibit is shocking and unprofessional. I cannot comprehend how these employees continue to be employed given their abysmal conduct. It seems management is turning a blind eye to this serious issue, raising serious questions about accountability at the Stamford Hill Group Practice. Every time I need to contact this practice, I am filled with dread and anxiety. The thought of calling fills me with profound discomfort. No individual should be subjected to such degrading treatment. Moreover, I have frequently experienced interminable wait times, only to have the call abruptly terminated upon being answered. This pattern of systematic neglect suggests a widespread, systemic problem that leadership is deliberately ignoring or failing to address.
