Helpful staff across every visit

Excellent practice. I have attended on several occasions, and I have been consistently satisfied with my visits. The reception staff, clinical nurses and medical practitioners have all demonstrated helpfulness and professionalism throughout my interactions.

Reception didn't communicate test results properly

Station House Surgery identified a metabolic condition in May 2021 but did not communicate this to me. This resulted in a serious complication that went undetected during a routine appointment at the surgery approximately one year later, leading to an emergency department visit and a hospital admission. I feel this situation could have been prevented with better communication and clinical oversight.

Long wait times for telephone consultations

It was disappointing to experience such a lengthy wait time when attempting to arrange a consultation. Being informed of a significant delay before speaking with a clinician was frustrating. 😢🤔😕🙁😩

Quick phone appointment sorted my issue

Absolutely 5* experience recently. I called the surgery in the morning, had a phone consultation shortly after and then a face to face appointment later that morning with a lovely, knowledgeable clinician who entirely sorted me out. It doesn't get better than that 😊

Friendly staff made our puppy visit reassuring

We've been using the surgery for years. Super friendly staff, and the veterinarians are great. One particular veterinarian has been our main point of contact since we started. We took our young puppy in recently for a checkup and met another veterinarian. This veterinarian was fantastic. So knowledgeable and reassuring. Very impressed once again!!!

Counter staff ignored me until I rang bell

Called ahead to confirm that my parents' medication was prepared and received confirmation that it was. Upon arrival at the counter, I was not acknowledged despite being visible to staff until I pressed the bell. When I was finally attended to, neither prescription was actually ready, and part of the order was not in stock. I then had to wait approximately 15 minutes before the prescriptions were eventually provided. Due to this experience, I have since arranged for my prescriptions to be dispensed elsewhere and am recommending that my parents consider doing the same.

Staff weren't helpful when I needed urgent care

This practice has not met my expectations. The team came across as unwelcoming and unhelpful, particularly when I needed prompt assistance. I would not recommend this surgery to others.
