Terrible doctors office with impossible appointment system

Just relocated to this region, and without a doubt, this is the most frustrating medical practice I've ever dealt with. Their appointment scheduling is absurdly complicated, requiring patients to call precisely at noon to book future visits, but with only 6-8 slots available that vanish almost instantly. Today, I endured a 50-minute hold time seeking an urgent appointment, and when the single time slot didn't work for me, I'm now forced to repeat this exhausting process tomorrow, all while my infant is unwell. The entire ordeal has been incredibly nerve-wracking and completely unacceptable.

Quick and efficient medical support when needed

Scheduled a consultation through the website and secured a 4 PM slot on the same day. The doctor phoned me approximately 20 minutes after booking. We talked through my health issues. I was able to collect the blood test requisition from the front desk immediately. The reception staff were accommodating, and the physician was professional and communicative during our phone call. The overall experience was top-notch. I was thoroughly satisfied.

Patience pays off with helpful medical service

I experienced a substantial wait of 48 minutes before my call was answered, which I anticipated given it was early Monday morning and likely a peak time for the practice. Once connected, the Receptionist was incredibly helpful and courteous. They provided me with the flexibility to choose between an in-person or telephone consultation, and I selected the telephone option. I was informed the appointment would be around 11 AM, and indeed, the Doctor called me at approximately 11:10. During our discussion about my ongoing medical issue, the Doctor promptly arranged to have my prescription sent directly to my preferred pharmacy. Despite the initial lengthy wait time, I was ultimately very satisfied with the service I received once my call was processed.

Abysmal reproductive healthcare with zero compassion. Repeatedly provided ineffective guidance during miscarriage support. The medical staff were condescending, forcing me to relive traumatic experiences multiple times, treating me as if I were unintelligent. They failed to properly record any details and ultimately offered no meaningful assistance whatsoever.

This morning, I called at 8:00 AM and endured a wait of more than half an hour, only to be informed that no appointments were available. The staff suggested I either try again the next day or visit the emergency room. Having been a patient at this medical practice since 1998, I can confidently say the service has consistently been subpar. On a slightly positive note, at least today's receptionist was not discourteous.

This is particularly unacceptable when dealing with an elderly, unwell mother who requires urgent treatment, and where an emergency team cannot move forward without critical test results. While others claim the reception staff have made strides, as someone who has been a patient at this surgery since childhood, I regrettably cannot confirm any meaningful enhancement in their communication or care.

Dr. boateng saved my mum's life with care

Despite the typically lengthy wait times for an appointment, I must award a 5-star review because Dr. Boateng is nothing short of an absolute miracle worker who quite literally saved my mother's life. Just before the pandemic hit, my mum came in with some stomach complaints that she wasn't particularly concerned about. Thankfully, Dr. Boateng was incredibly persistent and insistent on conducting further examinations, treating the situation with remarkable seriousness and urgency. Within a short period, they discovered my mum had bowel cancer. Remarkably quickly afterwards, she underwent surgery to remove the cancer. Thanks to Dr. Boateng and sheer providence, my mum has been doing wonderfully since. Had it not been for Dr. Boateng's exceptional professionalism, swift action, and compassionate care, my mother might have missed her critical surgical window as covid restrictions were about to dramatically complicate medical procedures. I'm acutely aware that many others were not as fortunate. The thought of what might have happened had my mum been caught in the pandemic's medical bureaucratic nightmare is truly chilling. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you Dr. Boateng. You are an absolute hero. My family and I will be eternally grateful.
