Feedback on this practice reveals a deeply divided patient experience, with significant operational challenges dominating the overall picture. Appointment access remains a critical concern, with patients reporting extensive phone queues, limited availability, and difficulties securing timely consultations. Reception experience is inconsistent, ranging from genuinely warm and supportive interactions to accounts of discourtesy, dismissiveness, and poor communication. Several patients describe feeling unheard or disrespected during booking attempts, whilst others praise the helpfulness and empathy of front desk staff.

Continuity of care and organisational responsiveness emerge as persistent issues. Patients report difficulties reaching the practice, unresponsive communication channels, and challenges with follow-up arrangements. The practice appears to be undergoing changes aimed at improving services, though experiences remain inconsistent across the patient population.

Terrible service from unprofessional and lazy receptionists
The front desk staff are completely unprofessional and utterly useless. They're constantly engaged in idle conversation instead of attending to their professional responsibilities. Their lack of commitment and work discipline is astounding. It's no surprise that customer feedback consistently highlights the incompetence of these receptionists. Their poor performance is clearly reflected in the negative reviews.

Worst medical service ever for pregnant patient
The level of service we've encountered is absolutely appalling. My girlfriend, who is 14 weeks pregnant, has been struggling to secure a medical appointment for two consecutive days. On the first day, we discovered the only way to book is by calling precisely at 8am with hopes of getting a same-day slot, which led to endless waiting and being instructed to try again the next day. During our second attempt, we finally spoke with someone and detailed her ongoing three-week flu, persistent cough and sneezing, and pregnancy status. Instead of an appointment, we received an empty promise that a doctor would call back - which never materialized. We did, however, receive a text claiming a call was attempted at 11:57am, which we can categorically confirm did not happen. Now entering our third day, we remain without any meaningful assistance or recognition of the critical nature of seeing a medical professional. I am utterly speechless regarding the overwhelming frustration and disbelief caused by this dysfunctional system's complete lack of empathy and basic patient care.

Worst reception staff ever unprofessional and rude
If you're considering becoming a patient at this medical practice - STEER CLEAR! There's a specific receptionist, an older woman with gray hair and spectacles, who is incredibly discourteous and displays zero compassion. It's baffling how someone with such an unprofessional demeanor could be employed in a healthcare environment, particularly at a general practitioner's office. My heart goes out to all the patients who must interact with this individual. I strongly advise avoiding this place if humanly possible. The practice would undoubtedly improve if this staff member were to retire immediately. I am in the process of filing an official grievance against the surgery.

Awful service and endless phone wait times
Absolutely dreadful service. They need to hire more staff to handle incoming calls. I've been trying to get a repeat prescription since last week, and I'm still on hold after an hour and fifteen minutes.

Flexible healthcare with same-day doctor appointments
Same-day appointments are consistently accessible, typically with your preferred physician. Their strategy of reserving numerous slots for urgent consultations is impressive. Simply call precisely at 8am, wait, and provide your name, birth date, symptoms, and usual doctor. You'll receive a callback the same day. If an in-person consultation is necessary, they'll arrange it promptly. By maintaining continuity with the same doctor, my intricate medical requirements are handled more effectively and with genuine empathy. The reception staff are also delightful and supportive. While we could certainly benefit from additional doctors, and the NHS is undeniably stretched, this medical practice is a true standout, making extraordinary efforts to support patients.

Poor!
Terrible healthcare service with rude and unhelpful staff
The healthcare service here is appalling, and the surgical standards seem even worse. The reception staff desperately need comprehensive customer service training - their attitude is completely unacceptable. Here's a specific incident: I visit the doctor for my daughter, who examines her and advises getting medication from the pharmacy. I inquire about a prescription, and they casually suggest I can just go to the chemist. At the pharmacy, I'm informed I'll need a prescription or face a 15-pound charge. Principled, I call the surgery back, only to be confronted by a staff member who incredulously asks, "Are you seriously telling me you can't afford 15 pounds for your child's medicine?" Utterly inappropriate - how dare they make assumptions about my financial situation? Her condescending tone was infuriating. I explained that while I could afford the cost, many others couldn't, and I could have been among those struggling. The fundamental issue is that I shouldn't have to pay for my 5-year-old daughter's medication - a proper prescription should have been issued. Absolutely outrageous! Today, I made a pointless trip to the chemist, being assured my prescription would be sent. After nearly two hours since my call with the doctor, no prescription has arrived. May heaven help us all.

Exceptional healthcare with compassionate and caring staff
The reception team here is consistently warm-hearted and empathetic. Despite being swamped with work, they remain cheerful and genuinely eager to assist. I've never encountered such delightful front desk staff at any medical practice before. Dr. Vanessa Salih is an exceptional physician who truly exemplifies dedication to patient care. Finding a doctor who listens attentively and shows genuine concern feels incredibly rare - like stumbling upon a precious gem. These qualities are precisely why I'm thrilled to have chosen this practice.

Poor!
Disappointing decline in medical practice service quality
I've consistently received top-notch care from this medical practice, with swift appointment scheduling within a day. However, recent changes mean that calling now results in a phone consultation scheduled for the next week. It's impossible to conduct a proper medical assessment remotely, which is completely unsatisfactory. I've been a loyal patient at this surgery for an extended period and have never experienced such a substandard approach to healthcare before.

Betrayed by my gp after years of loyalty
I've been registered with this practice for two decades without issues, but after they dismissed my husband's back problem for a year, ultimately revealing terminal cancer, my patience has worn thin. His diagnosis came just 6 weeks before lockdown, and during the pandemic, it was absolutely devastating. I felt completely isolated and unsupported. My husband nearly died from chemotherapy complications, and when I broke down under the stress, they prescribed antidepressants. However, after two prescriptions, I couldn't even get a repeat because I couldn't reach anyone. I had to arrange my own counselling through the hospital since the surgery was completely unresponsive. I originally booked appointments online, but their system has changed, rendering my login details useless. How can patients access help if they can't even contact the practice? As the largest surgery in Bexley, they should provide much better patient support. The pandemic is no excuse for being unreachable. Today, I finally got a face-to-face appointment for a blood pressure check before an HRT prescription. A rolling sign displayed 148 missed appointments - perhaps if patients could actually cancel, these slots might be utilized! I'm puzzled why they aren't operating normally when everyone else has returned to work and adapted to COVID. Today, I saw a wonderful Indian doctor who was absolutely fantastic. She was a breath of fresh air, genuinely listening and making me feel significantly better. Why can't we return to the practice's previous standard of caring doctors and staff? Thank you to her, and I'm hopeful the practice can restore its former quality of care.

Bad!
Worst customer service ever painful wait
Absolutely dreadful beyond belief. I've been stuck in a phone queue for a full hour, only to have the line ring endlessly for another thirty minutes - what's the purpose of a service that can't even handle basic communication? This isn't an isolated incident; it's a recurring problem. Moreover, getting a doctor's appointment means resigning yourself to waiting over half an hour every single time. A complete mismanagement of resources.

Terrible healthcare experience with unresponsive medical staff
This medical practice has extremely poor management. Attempting to schedule an appointment by phone is a nightmare, with a one-week waiting period. After enduring this delay, I waited all morning for a callback, only to contact the surgery myself. The receptionist informed me that no doctors were available to speak with me today and the next available physician would be in three days. Despite the urgency of my case, their only suggestion was to go to the hospital. Practices like this, where doctors and hospitals are overwhelmed with patients, demonstrate a complete failure of staff to perform their basic duties. They should be embarrassed by their incompetence.

Worst customer service ever terrible waiting experience
I started as third in line, and within 10 minutes, I mysteriously became first. After waiting a grueling hour and 5 minutes, I threw in the towel. If this were a matter of life and death, I'd have been six feet under by now.

Terrible healthcare leaving patients in critical condition
This medical service is appalling. My aging parent cannot secure a consultation and has developed an infected boil due to being unable to see a physician. Phone wait times stretch to nearly an hour, the front desk staff are discourteous, and the healthcare providers appear indifferent and negligent. An official grievance has been filed.
