Without a doubt, this is the top medical practice in the area. Ceri, the practice manager, is absolutely impeccable, and the welcoming reception team matches her excellence! Dr Acorn is exceptional (though he tends to run late due to his talkative nature and genuine patient investment), and after being registered here for nearly a quarter-century, I was truly heartbroken to depart after having my baby and moving outside their service area. I was certain I wouldn't find a comparable practice, and indeed, my new doctors are nowhere near Stock surgery's standard. The facility itself is wonderfully bright, cheerful, and immaculately maintained, with staff consistently demonstrating politeness and compassion. They also offer a spacious private parking area, making access convenient even when managing a newborn. If circumstances allowed, I would absolutely relocate just to remain their patient!

My sibling encounters ongoing challenges with this particular pharmacy. The majority of employees demonstrate a lack of customer service and often come across as discourteous. Not only do they instruct HER to independently contact other pharmacies in search of her medication (acknowledging that this specific item can occasionally be scarce), but they seem to miss the fundamental purpose of pharmacy staff. Fundamentally, their role should involve sourcing medications, making inquiries on patients' behalf, or recommending viable alternatives and coordinating with physicians to secure appropriate prescriptions. This is a recurring issue, and the persistent strain is significantly impacting an already vulnerable individual struggling with health concerns.

While it's undoubtedly a bustling practice and securing an appointment can occasionally be challenging, they are remarkably responsive when urgent medical needs arise. The physicians are exceptional and meticulous, promptly ordering necessary tests when health concerns emerge. During a recent experience, when I felt uncertain about a consultant's recommendation, they facilitated a second opinion that ultimately resulted in a more streamlined and effective healthcare journey. Their specialized clinics addressing conditions like blood pressure and diabetes are particularly impressive, ensuring comprehensive patient monitoring and proactively preventing potential future health complications. The on-site pharmacy and in-house blood testing further enhance their overall operational efficiency and patient care.

The medical professionals are, for the most part, exceptionally personable and attentive. There's one newer physician I'm not particularly fond of, but all the others are outstanding. After switching to this practice when I relocated, the improvement in care is immediately apparent, and I'm thoroughly satisfied.

Securing an appointment is incredibly challenging. The reception staff attempt to pre-diagnose patients before scheduling any consultation. The physicians appear dismissive of patient concerns. As a self-employed individual, this medical practice's inability to identify my medical issue is jeopardizing my business operations. Having lived in various locations across the U.K. and internationally, I can confidently state this is the most subpar medical surgery I've encountered. Being relatively new to the village, I've observed that the staff seems more accommodating to long-standing residents. While the reception can be patronizing and brusque, they ironically display a sign cautioning patients against displaying similar behavior.

The procedure itself was somewhat uncomfortable, requiring an additional dose of anesthetic midway through, but the entire process was relatively quick, lasting just half an hour. Recovery was swift, and I was mobile within a couple of days. I experienced some intermittent, mild discomfort in the groin area for the initial few months, but Dr Acorn was consistently supportive and reassuring, taking the time to address my concerns even when I reached out two months post-procedure. Overall, the experience was smooth and trouble-free, and most importantly, I've achieved my desired outcome of preventing future pregnancies!
