Incompetent nurse ruins healthcare experience completely

The service today was absolutely abysmal, barely deserving to be called a service at all. The male nurse was incredibly unhelpful, losing focus after barely a minute with me in the patient chair. He was eager to dispatch me to the Emergency Department for something that absolutely did not warrant such a drastic and unnecessary step - an issue a female nurse had previously handled with simplicity and ease. This guy, however, couldn't be bothered to help. To make matters worse, I had specifically come for my flu vaccination, and his response was a dismissive, "No, you'll have to book another appointment!!!" It's abundantly clear this individual is in completely the wrong profession... 😡

Terrible physio care left me in constant pain

I'm extremely frustrated with this physiotherapist who seems completely incompetent. After multiple appointments, she keeps claiming there's nothing wrong, despite me experiencing significant pain. The medical professionals are doing nothing but repeatedly ordering blood tests that provide no insights into the actual reason for my visit. The entire experience has been utterly disappointing and unhelpful.

During my recent visit to provide a blood sample, I encountered a phlebotomist who seemed somewhat brusque and lacking in warmth or conversational skills. More worryingly, the staff member did not properly sanitize the injection site before drawing blood, which raised significant hygiene concerns about potential bacterial contamination. I was thoroughly dissatisfied with the overall quality of care I received during this appointment!

Mostly great staff with one unfriendly nurse practitioner

I appreciate the welcoming and supportive demeanor of the medical staff, particularly the doctors. However, the nurse practitioner falls short in providing a positive patient experience. During both of my visits, he consistently positioned himself facing away from me, making me sit near the entrance while addressing me over his shoulder. His attitude came across as dismissive and impatient, giving me the distinct impression that my presence was an inconvenience. If I'm ever scheduled to see this specific nurse practitioner again, I will definitely decline the appointment.

Over the past half-year, I've scheduled four appointments for my aging parent, including several same-day visits, and I must say the entire team has been incredibly supportive. The receptionist, Dr. Hussein, and the nursing staff have been remarkably accommodating despite working with minimal personnel. In comparison, my local surgery at Stopsley has double their staffing. Despite the challenges, I have absolutely zero criticisms of their service.

Israel, another healthcare professional there, is also notably helpful and kind. Admittedly, securing an appointment can sometimes be challenging, though I recognize this is likely a common experience across many medical practices nowadays. Overall, I find the entire staff at this practice to be warm and welcoming.
