Terrible receptionist ruins patient experience at medical centre

The receptionist at SwanPool Medical Centre is absolutely terrible. She consistently refuses to schedule appointments for patients. No matter if you arrive early in the morning or call right at opening, she claims all slots are booked. Her standard response is always that appointments are completely full, leaving patients frustrated and without options. I'm bewildered why the management hasn't addressed this dysfunctional booking system. When patients request prescription renewals, she simply deflects, insisting on an appointment but providing no actual way to obtain one. Her obstructive behavior creates an impossible situation where patients are left wondering how they can even see a doctor. The receptionist seems determined to prevent any patient from accessing medical care, effectively blocking people from meeting with healthcare professionals through her uncooperative attitude.

Worst customer service ever for special needs family

I'd rate this zero stars if possible. Despite being instructed to call at 8, when I rang just 4 minutes after the hour, I was met with absolute discourtesy. No greeting, no inquiry about my concern - the person simply answered and abruptly declared no appointments were available. As a result, I've been compelled to secure private healthcare for myself and my 5-year-old autistic child. The receptionists are shockingly unprofessional, and I'm astounded they remain employed. Their conduct is so disrespectful that they should be thoroughly ashamed of how they interact with people.

Elderly patient suffering while healthcare system fails

Utterly frustrated, my elderly wife, 80 years old and recently fitted with a pacemaker, has been battling persistent diarrhea for over a week. I followed the advised protocol and called 111, who then redirected me to a walk-in centre, which subsequently sent me back to my GP. When I contacted the practice's reception, they again suggested I call 111. The whole process is completely absurd. My wife has been a lifelong patient at this practice, yet she's receiving such disjointed and unhelpful care.

Additionally, I've consistently found the staff to be friendly and supportive, and they have several excellent doctors on their team.

Each morning at 8:00 AM, I telephone seeking an appointment, only to be repeatedly informed that no slots are open. The front desk personnel demonstrate a dismissive attitude and fail to genuinely engage with my healthcare concerns. They rapidly terminate my calls with a curt "no appointments" response, without exploring the underlying medical issue. This problematic situation has continued for approximately a fortnight. It appears that a physician is perpetually unavailable, and the staff consistently emphasize their fully-booked status. The persistently discourteous treatment is especially troubling considering the critical nature of seeking medical support. Getting an appointment here is practically impossible. I've attempted to schedule a visit for three consecutive days without success.
