Friendly staff made me feel genuinely listened to

This practice is among the finest, with all staff members being excellent, friendly and helpful, from those at reception and on the telephone through to all clinical personnel. I really couldn't find fault with any of them. The clinicians are outstanding and always make time for patients. The nurse practitioner is brilliant, demonstrating a caring, friendly and professional approach. I cannot fault the care I have received over recent months. The standard of care provided is comparable to that of the doctors, and I would highly recommend this practitioner. They represent an excellent example of their profession and among the best I have experienced.

Receptionist refused to issue fit to work note

Poor experience with the reception staff and difficulty obtaining a required document following a period of ill health. When requesting the paperwork, I was told an appointment would be necessary to process it, yet no appointment was offered despite my recovery. This created a frustrating circular situation.

Online booking system leaves month-long waits

The online appointment booking system is extremely frustrating, with waiting times of at least a month, and you still need to call first thing in the morning to check for any available slots. The process feels inefficient. During the consultation, the clinician spent much of the time providing explanations and maintaining an upbeat demeanor, but much of this felt disconnected from my actual concerns. Rather than listening carefully and asking targeted questions in a measured way, this approach meant I wasn't able to discuss or raise half of the issues I had come to address. I was also informed that only one issue can be covered per appointment, which came as a surprise given the standard appointment length. I don't usually leave reviews, but I'm questioning whether it's worth returning to this practice, as the experience felt unproductive.

Pharmacy mix-up delayed urgent inhaler access

An incorrect item was included on my prescription. When I contacted the practice to resolve this urgently regarding a respiratory medication, I was informed it might arrive that day or the following day. I requested a telephone consultation with a clinician to discuss the matter, but this request was declined. My local pharmacy had to intervene by sending an email to the practice on my behalf. I eventually received the correct medication in the late afternoon, which I'm grateful to my pharmacy for facilitating rather than the reception staff.

Reception and nurses were genuinely helpful

Five stars for the reception team and nursing staff. One star for a particular clinician whom I have repeatedly requested not to see. I felt that the care provided did not meet the standard I would expect, and I have concerns about the quality of the consultation experience. I would prefer to be seen by other members of the medical team in future appointments.

Reception team really helpful with flexible appointments

This practice is wonderful. The team at reception, the clinical staff and the support they offer is really amazing. The team are very courteous and do their best to accommodate appointment requests. I travel frequently for work and the team have been so helpful in arranging appointments around my schedule. They've also provided excellent support for our young child. 10/10 - Thank you

I have remained with this practice despite numerous ongoing operational difficulties. While the clinical staff are pleasant during consultations, certain administrative personnel have displayed inconsistent professionalism on multiple occasions, which has been concerning. Test outcomes have frequently remained unaddressed for extended periods. Patients need to actively monitor their own care to avoid potential issues. Appointment availability presents a significant challenge, however the more troubling aspects involve how urgent matters are sometimes deprioritised and the way results are managed, alongside communication gaps that feel inadequate. These shortcomings are disappointing. The practice would benefit from meaningful improvements.
