Used online form for urgent medical appointments Told to call and get an urgent appointment only to be told by an inexperienced representative to fill out another form very rude Told I’d have to wait upto 3 weeks they know my situation and don’t care. I've been a patient at this medical practice for over four decades, and I can confidently say the reception staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. My husband and I both hope Dr. Holmes never considers retirement - he's truly exceptional. Dr. Mason is the epitome of compassion, always attentive and supportive. I recognize these are challenging times for the practice with high patient volumes, but if we all approach interactions with politeness and understanding, we'll receive kindness in return. Terrible healthcare experience with negligent doctors

These doctors are completely useless and show zero concern for patient well-being! They dismissively told me to just rest at home with my back pain! I took matters into my own hands and got an MRI independently, which revealed I actually have two slipped discs! When I returned to them, their response was utterly unhelpful and infuriating 😡😡

After enduring a four-week wait for an appointment regarding an urgent, rapidly spreading condition, I finally attend only to receive two items, with one unavailable. When I inform them of this, they reissue the same items and suggest I travel to Christchurch to collect them, despite my explaining I have no means of transportation. They promise to explore alternatives, but a week has passed with no follow-up. If my health depended on this, I'd be in serious trouble. I'm seriously considering legal action and wish we could simply reclaim national insurance, as this feels like yet another instance of healthcare deliberately complicating my medical treatment.

In one instance, after having a relative complete their online form due to a serious chest infection, they proposed an appointment seven days out, which was completely inappropriate - forcing the patient to physically visit and argue for next-day treatment. Their supposed streamlined digital system paradoxically creates more problems, routinely mismanaging both appointments and prescription processing. The entire experience with this surgery is an exercise in frustration, with seemingly no consideration for patient needs or convenience.

Terrible reception and slow customer service nightmare

The reception service was an absolute ordeal. The staff members were leisurely conversing among themselves, completely disregarding the line of waiting customers. After I had been standing there for what felt like an eternity, one of the receptionists finally acknowledged my presence with the painfully obvious question of whether I was "waiting?" Obviously, I was standing in the queue, and their lack of urgency was frustrating.

Caring doctor saves clinic from one-star disaster

I've upgraded my review from 1 to 3 stars, primarily because of Dr Koovejee's exceptional approach. He genuinely pays attention to patients and demonstrates remarkable commitment to investigating and addressing intricate, persistent medical challenges. He is undeniably among the most skilled physicians at this practice. I haven't awarded a higher rating due to the persistent problems I previously highlighted: while the medical staff are excellent, scheduling an appointment is incredibly frustrating. Their clinic's booking system is completely ineffective, and I would much prefer using the NHS app instead.

Disappointing decline in medical care and staff

The Surgery has dramatically declined since my last pregnancy in 2018, and the change is utterly shocking. I was moved to tears realizing that all the exceptional doctors like Dr Nixon, Dr Hughes, and potentially Dr Holmes have departed. These professionals were true treasures - highly skilled and genuinely committed to patient care, thoroughly investigating every medical concern. I'm seriously contemplating switching healthcare providers. Although they're efficient at scheduling urgent appointments through lengthy online forms, the actual consultations feel perfunctory and superficial - you might as well have a phone conversation. The experience has left me feeling deeply anxious about potential serious health issues!

Frustrating medical portal with constant service disruptions

Over the past three days, I've been attempting to access Klinik. On Monday, November 11th, Klinik claimed they would be back online Tuesday at 08:00. Returning Tuesday, they then stated they'd be operational Wednesday at 08:00. When I tried again on Thursday, November 14th at 08:00, the system was still offline. Online inquiries for Talbot Medical Centre remain suspended, with a message indicating service resumption on Wednesday, November 13th, 2024 at 00:00. The phone queue's voice message directs patients to use the Klinik app for appointments, prescriptions, and blood results, suggesting speaking with staff in person if issues arise. However, I cannot reach anyone by phone due to work commitments during weekdays. This situation is incredibly inconvenient and demonstrates a severe lack of patient consideration. I'm frustrated and wondering when the KLINIK link will finally be functional and accessible.

Worst customer service ever from unhelpful staff

These folks have completely lost sight of their core purpose: assisting customers. Their staff consistently displays a dismissive and unhelpful demeanor that screams indifference. While their website offers three appointment booking methods, the receptionist's sole response is to redirect you online - I'm baffled why I'm paying for a service that could essentially be handled by an automated system. Both my brother and I have attempted multiple contact approaches - phone calls, in-person visits - yet they remain stubbornly unresponsive. Their service is so abysmal that if a zero-star rating were possible, I'd select it without hesitation. They need to stop being so incredibly lazy and actually do their job.

Absolutely the most incompetent medical facility I've ever encountered. They bizarrely split my prescription between two pharmacies, with one location situated two hours from my home, and then insisted I personally resolve their administrative mistake. Moreover, when I suffered a leg fracture, they completely neglected to follow through on their promise to arrange physiotherapy follow-up. I strongly advise seeking healthcare elsewhere if you have any alternative options available.
