Long wait for callback left us without help
I have had a very frustrating experience with this surgery. I was waiting an extended period for a clinical callback regarding my young child who was unwell with a high temperature. The surgery was difficult to reach by phone, and despite my attempts to contact them directly and seeking assistance through other means to prompt a response, I did not receive the callback I was expecting. This situation resulted in me needing to seek care elsewhere. I am disappointed with the level of service provided and feel the experience was unsatisfactory.

Practice doesn't listen to patient concerns
I have found the practice unhelpful and feel my concerns are not being heard. I have requested referrals for significant muscle pain without success, and obtaining a sick note for work proved difficult. Requests for pain management have been declined. Despite struggling with mental health difficulties, I have not received the support I need, which has added to my stress levels. Appointment availability has been a persistent problem. Due to these experiences, I have decided to register elsewhere as I feel let down and unsupported by my current provider.

Doctor called back same evening with helpful advice
I'd like to give a special mention to the health centre team. After I called on Tuesday afternoon hoping for an appointment without success, a clinician rang me back at 7.30pm. This call meant I could avoid attending accident and emergency. I received pain relief that same evening along with helpful guidance, and a blood test was arranged for 9am the following day. The results were communicated to me on Friday morning. I'm making good progress, and further tests have been scheduled to ensure everything continues to improve. The service provided by both the reception staff and the clinical team was excellent. I've expressed my gratitude to the clinician directly, though I wasn't able to identify the other team member involved. I hope this feedback reaches the staff members concerned.

Impossible to book an appointment here
It would be easier to arrange a meeting with a celebrity than to secure an appointment at this practice. The experience has been quite disappointing overall. The reception staff can come across as unwelcoming and unhelpful. The clinical staff are excellent when you finally manage to see them, but the difficulty in accessing appointments is a significant problem.

Long-term patient valued by attentive clinical staff
I have been a patient at this health centre since 1995. Over the years, I have been seen by several clinicians who have all been excellent, and I have found the nursing and reception staff to be among the kindest and most helpful I have ever encountered. The care and support I have received for my health and wellbeing throughout my time as a patient has been outstanding, and I am very grateful for this. I am now in my nineties and continue to receive wonderful treatment and service from the practice and the associated pharmacy. I would like to commend everyone involved for their continued good work.

I recently registered as a temporary patient while staying in the area following the birth of my child. The clinician I saw was very pleasant and helpful. The practice also arranged my baby's health check and vaccination through text message, which meant I didn't need to make a phone call. The online messaging system has been effective for my needs so far. While there seem to be some difficulties with reaching the practice by telephone, I've found that using the online messaging service results in a prompt response. Overall, I've been very satisfied with my experience.

Surgery ignored urgent patient contact requests
This surgery has been extremely disappointing. I experienced a lack of communication regarding a family member's health concerns. As I have mentioned before, a private business operating in this manner would likely face serious consequences. I would urge the practice to reconsider their current approach—we are well past the pandemic period, so why are in-person appointments and prompt telephone consultations not readily available? If you are seeking a reliable surgery, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
