Staff attitude made me switch practices
I have encountered instances where members of the clinical team displayed behaviour that I found to be discourteous, lacking in empathy, and disrespectful. My experiences at this practice have been consistently negative, and this has also been the case for other family members. I have raised my concerns with management on two separate occasions. As a result, I have chosen to transfer my care to an alternative GP practice. I would not recommend this practice to others.

Appointments forgotten repeatedly by the surgery
My experience at this surgery over the past couple of years has been quite disappointing. The reception staff will schedule appointments for you, but when you arrive at the designated time, you find yourself waiting for an extended period, and it appears there is no record of your booking. The same issue occurs with telephone appointments—you wait for the call from the clinician, but an hour or more passes after the scheduled time, and when you contact the surgery to inquire about the missed appointment, they have no documentation of it either. This situation has repeated itself multiple times over the past two years and seems to be a recurring problem that requires urgent attention. Additionally, I have not received any explanation or apology regarding these incidents.

Receptionists blocking access to doctors unfairly
Unfortunately, I share the concerns raised by others. The clinical staff are excellent, but there are instances where administrative staff fall short of expectations. During a recent interaction, I was informed by reception that my post-procedure recovery had been straightforward, even though my medical records indicated otherwise. I was also prevented from speaking with a clinician about my concerns. It would be more appropriate for medical professionals to make decisions regarding patient care rather than administrative personnel without clinical qualifications. This situation created unnecessary worry and potentially compromised the safety of my care.
