Hard to Get Help at This GP Practice

I deeply appreciate the NHS and its vital role, but this particular GP practice desperately needs significant reforms. Securing a medical appointment is incredibly challenging, even when my family or I are experiencing health issues. The telephone staff frequently display rudeness and lack of empathy, which only escalates the existing stress of seeking medical care. Each time I've attempted to voice my concerns or file a complaint, the management's response has been thoroughly unsatisfactory. Rather than acknowledging the underlying problems, they consistently shift blame to external circumstances, avoiding genuine accountability and failing to propose meaningful solutions. Most alarming is the practice's persistently low 2.3-star rating, which has remained unchanged for an extended period, with no substantive improvements implemented. It appears that patient feedback is being systematically disregarded. Patients fundamentally deserve compassionate communication, understanding, and robust support, particularly during periods of illness. My sincere hope is that this critique will prompt meaningful and authentic enhancements within the practice.

Terrible Service During Early Morning Appointments

If I could rate this place lower than zero, I would. It's nearly impossible to secure an appointment. Initially, they tell you to call at 8am for same-day scheduling, but then claim all slots are filled or they're only offering four appointments for the day. I'm dealing with a chronic condition and urgently need assistance, and my pregnant girlfriend hasn't received any prescription either. This situation is completely unacceptable! Send me another feedback form... If there are alternative medical practices in the area, definitely explore those options. This place is an absolute waste of time and energy!!

Exemplary Service

It is understandable that the doctors are extremely busy and that it is very difficult for patients to get appointments with them. As I had a swelling on my hand, I approached my local chemist to get an opinion on it. It was suggested to me that I should see my GP as soon as possible. Having said that, I did go to my GP surgery in Allendale Road. As soon as I arrived at the reception, I was met by the staff who assessed my condition, contacted the doctor and made sure I was in the appointment within half an hour. It is simply unheard of for this to happen! It is my expectation that I will receive consistent service at the very least. The fact that I am able to do that is what keeps me in the game. Further, I would like to mention that the exemplary service, which was provided by Dr Bagga personally, did raise my level of satisfaction. In numerous instances, she has under-promised, but over-delivered and gone the extra mile on a number of occasions. She, electronically, arranged for an X-Ray within 24 hours, made an appointment for me to see a qualified technician at her surgery as part of a new service that she introduced to her patients, and all that was over the phone. I am simply impressed. Thank you and Well done Dr Bagga for all you services.

Subpar medical practice service. I've discovered alarming inaccuracies in the administrative documentation at this general practice. These errors have contributed to a significant clinical confusion. I strongly advise all patients of this GP to submit a subject access request (SAR) to review their complete medical records and verify how their health information is being documented. The administrative team appears to be making numerous clinical mistakes without proper comprehension.

Repeatedly, I had to contact them about my prescription, and each time they promised completion, only to claim the next day they hadn't done anything. This negligence is directly impacting an urgent surgical procedure. Their constant excuses reveal a complete lack of concern for patient care. Their unprofessional conduct is evident in their casual attitude, with staff members seemingly more interested in chatting than performing their duties. The entire team requires a comprehensive overhaul and serious reevaluation. Their behavior is entirely unacceptable, showing a fundamental inability to fulfill professional responsibilities effectively. Immediate and substantial changes are absolutely necessary. I cannot emphasize enough how strongly I advise against choosing this medical practice.
