No Callback even when they called 2hrs wait

They called me to inform me I would be able speak to a GP within 2hrs. No callcack ever happened. I don’t use the NHS much if at all because I try to keep well. I would hope integrity would be present for the sick. Maybe I was not important enough because my original GP surgery referred me to them. Very poor advice from them that they would call and did not.

Be prepared to have your phone buzz briefly before they abruptly disconnect, seemingly content to mark their "attempted contact" box while leaving you hanging.

The next day, I met with Natalie at my GP's office, who was incredibly understanding and provided valuable guidance, referring me to another mental health team. They've been calling me daily since then. My conversation with Meena and Dr. Mirchandani was particularly supportive - both were incredibly kind and easy to communicate with. Today, Mike from the mental health team even conducted a home visit, which was incredibly helpful. I can genuinely say, without exaggeration, that these professionals have essentially saved my life during this challenging week. I must also acknowledge the reception staff, who were wonderfully supportive, though I unfortunately didn't catch all their names. Hanna, who performed my blood tests this morning, was another example of genuine kindness. I realize I've been quite detailed, but sometimes it's important to share when you've experienced such extraordinary compassion and support from healthcare professionals.
