Her guidance led me to submit an e-consult requesting a callback, and I received an email confirmation the next day. Through the Patient Access app, I was scheduled for a call between 8:30-10:30AM, and she contacted me at 9:30 with positive findings from both tests and X-ray. I'm grateful for her thorough care. However, I'm now experiencing significant frustration with booking a follow-up appointment. The booking process seems unnecessarily complicated, with limited options: calling at 12pm on Tuesdays (a detail not mentioned in their recorded message) or phoning at 8am on the desired appointment day. When suggested to use the e-consult method I'd used previously, I discovered the system is currently overwhelmed and accepting no new requests. My only remaining option is to somehow secure an appointment that doesn't meet the urgent criteria. The Allum Centre desperately needs to improve their administrative procedures.

I've been a patient at this medical practice for quite some time. Initially, the service was top-notch, but gradually it deteriorated. Scheduling appointments became a challenging experience. Telephone-only consultations were inadequate, and the reception staff often came across as curt and unhelpful. However, recently the practice appears to have made significant improvements. They've streamlined their operations, making the entire process much more efficient and accessible. Phone communication has become smoother, and the reception staff have been notably more pleasant and supportive during my recent interactions. I'm now able to have in-person consultations with Dr. Jasvinder Chana, who provides exceptional medical care. Similarly, Siyeda, who manages the hypertension clinic, has been equally impressive. An added convenience is that blood tests are now conducted on-site, eliminating the need to travel to Langthorne. Henna, the phlebotomist, is so skilled that even someone like me, who is terrified of needles, finds the experience painless. As I mentioned, they seem to have genuinely transformed their approach. My recent appointments have been remarkably positive, and I'm hopeful this improvement will continue.

These general practitioners have been absolutely terrible, and every single staff member lacks basic courtesy. The entire NHS system is completely ineffective because patients cannot voice their concerns, and when they do, their complaints are entirely disregarded. I've now realized that this is purely a money-making operation for both the GP practice and the NHS. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the healthcare system.
