The physicians and practice nurse are top-notch. The reception team is extremely thoughtful and accommodating. However, the administrative staff fall short of expectations. They are slow to process medication adjustments and seem more preoccupied with chasing patients for bureaucratic paperwork, despite having adequate staffing. My 4-star rating is primarily due to the exceptional doctors, welcoming reception, and the outstanding nurse.

After two years with this medical practice, I've yet to encounter Dr. Bath. They completely disregarded my health concerns, failed to discuss my blood pressure readings, and overlooked an infection without any proper follow-up. As a result, I am now facing a critical health situation. The level of professional neglect is so severe that this doctor should have their medical license revoked, and the entire practice should be shut down for their appalling patient care.

I'm composing this review to highlight a specific concern. Throughout my lengthy history with this practice, I've consistently experienced prompt, compassionate, and efficient service. However. The new locum physician is absolutely incompetent. I've never encountered a medical professional who so thoroughly dismissed my medical condition, particularly when I was explicitly requesting additional intervention. The process of obtaining a sick note was incredibly demeaning and frustratingly complex. The sheer level of unprofessionalism and ineptitude displayed by this doctor was astounding. While I could elaborate extensively, I'd rather not invest more time dwelling on that pointless consultation. It almost seems like a practical joke, but I strongly recommend removing this individual from what is otherwise an exceptional medical practice.

Terrible service causing patient stress and potential health risks

During a short trip, my father accidentally left his crucial medications at home. We asked Dr. Bath to provide a new prescription on Thursday afternoon so we could collect his medicines from a local pharmacy. Dr. Bath assured us it would be simple - just contact reception with pharmacy details, and he'd handle everything. However, come Friday morning, we spent nearly two hours at the Norfolk pharmacy sorting out complications. When we called Dr. Bath's reception from the chemist, the prescription wasn't ready. The receptionist spoke with the pharmacy staff and said Dr. Bath would sign off the prescription that evening. This morning receptionist was genuinely supportive and understanding. Around 5 PM, a staff member named Sheila called and was extremely unhelpful and dismissive. She abruptly hung up mid-conversation while my mother was still explaining our situation, insisting we could collect prescriptions on Monday, despite knowing we were returning to Luton on Sunday. She was completely uncooperative and refused to listen. When we explained we had already discussed everything with the morning reception, Sheila claimed she was unfamiliar with the procedure. The stress severely impacted my father, a vulnerable patient. He experienced a seizure, was shaking with anxiety, and felt extremely unwell. Their mishandling caused significant distress throughout the weekend. I would give 0 stars if possible.

Advising my elderly mother to manually reposition her hernia and dismissing any further medical intervention, thereby condemning her to prolonged suffering, is absolutely unacceptable medical practice. This physician clearly lacks compassion and professional competence, and should seriously consider stepping down to allow a more empathetic and skilled practitioner to take over the medical practice.
