Feedback reveals a practice facing significant operational challenges that substantially impact patient access and care experience. Appointment availability emerges as the dominant concern, with patients reporting extreme difficulty securing consultations through both phone and online systems, often facing weeks-long waits or being told no slots exist. Waiting times for appointments, when finally obtained, frequently exceed an hour despite advance booking, with some patients abandoning visits after extended delays. Reception experience presents a secondary but serious issue, with multiple accounts of dismissive, discourteous, or unhelpful staff interactions, alongside communication failures regarding appointment status and prescription processing delays.
Positive feedback acknowledges that clinical staff, including doctors and nurses, generally demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and competence when patients do access care. Prescription processing has been efficient in some instances, and the online booking system functions well when appointments are available. However, these strengths are substantially overshadowed by systemic access barriers and organisational dysfunction that prevent many patients from reaching clinical services.
Patients consistently report that service quality has deteriorated following recent management changes, with particular frustration directed at the booking system's inability to accommodate demand. The combination of restricted appointment availability, lengthy phone queues, poor reception responsiveness, and inadequate communication creates a care experience that leaves many patients unable to access timely medical attention for their health concerns.

Endless wait with a sick child at unorganized clinic
I brought my young child to this medical practice today and endured an excessive wait exceeding two hours before being seen. The physician was significantly behind schedule, and the front desk staff were aware of this delay upon our arrival but chose not to provide any advance warning or information. We were trapped there during the lunch period and became increasingly hungry. The reception team's lack of communication was incredibly frustrating, especially given the already stressful circumstances of having an unwell child. As other patients have noted, the quality of this practice has deteriorated since its recent management change, and I'm deeply disappointed that patients have no alternative options. It's crucial for patients to contact their local representative and formally lodge complaints with both the receptionists and the practice. During our mid-morning arrival, we overheard another parent with a toddler expressing similar frustrations about their lengthy wait, which we initially dismissed as an isolated incident. Unfortunately, it now appears this is standard procedure. A comprehensive system must be developed where doctors who are running more than an hour behind schedule either receive support from colleagues or patients are immediately informed about potential delays upon arrival. The practice should consider reducing appointment volumes or securing additional staffing support. The current situation is completely unacceptable. Patients genuinely deserve a much higher standard of care.

Endless wait destroys patient's trust in medical care
I persuaded my partner to book a doctor's appointment, and after waiting 4 weeks, he arrived at the surgery with our 3-year-old. After sitting for over 45 minutes and discovering 5 more patients were ahead of him to see Dr. Bradbury (meaning at least another 30-minute wait), he decided to leave! This wasn't a last-minute emergency appointment, but a pre-planned one weeks in advance, and he arrived precisely on time - is it truly reasonable to expect him to wait over an hour to see the doctor? Patients with earlier appointments had time to go home, have tea, and return, yet still wait! 10:30am appointments weren't seen until 12pm!! In fact, two other patients who had booked appointments also left after waiting over an hour because they needed to return to work! Now he's home, with a health issue I believe requires medical attention, but he's absolutely determined to change surgeries and never return! Meanwhile, I'm hoping the condition I suspect might be cancer is nothing serious!! This surgery should completely abandon pre-booked appointments and simply tell patients they must book on the day, sit, wait, and hope - because even with a scheduled appointment, there's no guarantee you'll see a doctor anywhere near the designated time!

Disastrous medical care leaves patient frustrated and unheard
Since the management changed, this practice has been in total disarray. Booking appointments is nearly impossible, and administrative errors are constant. Twice now, the receptionist claimed my controlled drug prescription was missing, only resolving the issue after my wife spent considerable time explaining its location. After enduring a 12-minute phone wait to schedule a nurse practitioner appointment, I received a cancellation call an hour later stating the nurse was unavailable. As a patient with multiple complex medical conditions, including being on dialysis and prone to serious sepsis risks, I was shockingly not offered any emergency consultation. Instead, I was merely instructed to drop off a urine sample, with a vague promise that someone might eventually contact me about potential infection - and then what? The lack of professional care and communication is appalling.

Excellent!
Convenient healthcare with occasional morning call challenges
Excellent customer support. Morning phone lines can get congested with urgent medical requests, but the digital platform for prescription refills and scheduling routine consultations is straightforward and user-friendly.

Exceptional medical care that goes above and beyond
I've been a patient at this medical practice for years, and my experience has been consistently excellent. Every staff member I've interacted with, from doctors and nurses to healthcare assistants and receptionists, has been incredibly helpful and welcoming. The online appointment booking system is user-friendly and convenient. I was particularly impressed when I submitted a repeat prescription request late in the evening at 20:30, and it was processed and ready for pickup at my preferred pharmacy the very next day, which was completely unexpected. Their efficient service truly deserves recognition, especially considering how challenging it must be to maintain such high standards during busy periods like the holiday season. They've clearly been delivering top-notch care for over 25 years, and that's something to be proud of!
