Healthcare Neglect: Appointments, Tests, and Customer Service Issues

I cannot endorse this surgical procedure. Securing appointments is quite challenging. I was told it would take two months to schedule a blood and PSA test! They have extended the interval for my diabetic blood tests and follow-ups from every six months to once a year. What happened to the focus on preventive care? The staff has been completely unhelpful during phone inquiries. So much funding is being allocated to the HHS, yet conditions seem to be deteriorating!

Booking nightmare at beacon health group practice

Having been with the Beacon health group for almost two decades, securing an appointment has become increasingly challenging due to their cumbersome booking system. The strict time window requires form completion exactly at 7:45, and if you're even slightly late until 8:20, you're locked out and must wait until the next morning. Additionally, you might endure another three-day wait for a response from doctors or reception staff, who then might only refer you to a nurse or advanced practitioner, not an actual doctor. I've spent the past two months and nine days attempting to see a GP about my ear problem, and this prolonged waiting period has transformed into a significant concern that I hope they will address. The practice has grown so large that it has completely lost its connection with the local community. I'm seriously contemplating switching to another medical practice, with the sole factor preventing my immediate departure being the presence of some excellent doctors—though ironically, I haven't been able to consult any of them regarding my specific issue for nearly two and a half months.

Third-rate medical practice that epitomizes healthcare dysfunction. If the goal was to create a system designed to obstruct patient care, this would be the gold standard. Over the past decade, the quality has deteriorated from an already abysmal baseline. Securing a medical appointment here is essentially unattainable. Beacon health group fails patients with broken booking system

Being part of the Beacon health network has made securing same-day medical consultations increasingly challenging because of their current scheduling approach. Patients are unable to arrange appointments directly at the front desk and must instead rely on telephone booking, which proves nearly impossible given the overwhelming volume of people attempting to call. For the past three mornings, I've tried calling at 8 AM, yet all available slots have been immediately filled. In contrast, neighboring medical practices like Whitley House and Baddow Village Surgery offer more flexible on-the-day appointment options, including walk-in scheduling. This medical group has grown so large that it has completely lost its connection with the local community and personalized care. If circumstances permitted, I would gladly transfer my registration to another practice, though unfortunately we are outside their designated service area.

Nightmare at the medical office unprofessional staff

Absolutely dreadful experience from start to finish. I couldn't even make it to the doctor's office because of the incredibly rude receptionist. I'm not even sure what her actual role was, but she was handling something related to pediatric appointments. She spoke to me in such a degrading manner that I felt completely humiliated. When I tried to address her unprofessional behavior, she simply offered a weak apology about having a bad day, which is completely unacceptable. Her attitude left me so upset that I ended up leaving in tears, feeling totally disrespected and emotionally devastated.

Terrible healthcare fails vulnerable patient

I'd give this zero stars if I could!! My granddaughter has been suffering from a persistent leg rash for a month that's progressively spreading... I've been calling repeatedly (always stuck in a ridiculous 20-minute waiting queue) and constantly getting brushed off with no available appointments!!! Then they suggest I go to the pharmacist?? Who has absolutely no idea what the condition is and simply tells me to call the doctor again. After finally getting through, I'm instructed to take her to A&E!!! I'm beyond furious - I've now contacted 101 to file an official complaint on our behalf and they're emailing the doctors demanding she be seen IMMEDIATELY!!! MOUNTBATTEN, if anything seriously wrong happens to my grandchild, YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!!!!

Attempted to call Mountbatton medical practice precisely at 8:00 AM, only to encounter a perpetually busy signal until 8:20. Upon finally getting through, I was placed in a holding pattern for nearly an hour, only to be informed that all appointments were already allocated. Fortunately, I managed to secure a Saturday appointment with a physician, though today is Monday. It's truly disappointing, as this practice was once considered the top medical facility in the area.
