The medical professionals and personnel at this facility are incredibly warm and welcoming. They demonstrate authentic compassion, and having interacted with the practice extensively since 2018 up to now, I find absolutely no cause for complaint about the clinic or its team. It would be unreasonable to critique waiting periods, as these are likely systemic NHS challenges, but I've generally found that appointments run smoothly and on schedule.

Michelle, the nurse at the clinic, was her typically warm and welcoming self, and she managed to completely calm my nerves. In fact, the injection was so smooth that I barely noticed it happening... all my anxiety was completely unnecessary. She's truly an exceptional healthcare professional who does incredible work, and I'm so grateful. ❤️

Their scheduling mechanism is equally maddening—I had carefully arranged an appointment at a designated time and structured my professional commitments around it, only to discover, mere moments before the expected consultation, three missed calls from much earlier in the day, alleging I had somehow failed to appear for the appointment.

Birches medical center steps up their game

Over the past seven months, the Birches Medical Center has undergone significant enhancements (which were long overdue), and I'm pleased to report that scheduling an appointment is now much more straightforward, without the previous need to persistently dial at 8am. When I called at 10am, I was able to secure a same-day appointment. They've also added a highly competent pharmacist to their staff, and the reception team appears notably more relaxed and composed 😁. However, I've deducted a star because obtaining a nurse consultation still requires a two to three-week advance booking. I'm optimistic that this aspect will be addressed in the near future. Kudos to the Birches Medical Center. Continue making these positive strides.

Negligent care nearly cost me my life

Dr. Padma's era of quality care is a distant memory, with empathy completely vanished and staff displaying total indifference to patient welfare. It's become painfully clear that financial compensation is their sole motivation. Urgent intervention is desperately needed to prevent potential fatal consequences from medical negligence. When I was experiencing what they dismissively labeled as indigestion, I was actually suffering a heart attack. Thankfully, I was transferred to Manchester Royal for emergency surgery, yet even after this critical misdiagnosis, not a single apology was extended.
