Terrible healthcare service that fails patients completely
This general practitioner is absolutely the most disappointing medical professional I've encountered. I've completely given up attempting to seek medical assistance when unwell because obtaining any care or treatment is an incredibly arduous process that requires constant confrontation just to receive basic services. It genuinely seems like they're deliberately avoiding patient treatment as a cost-cutting strategy. While the nursing staff are genuinely pleasant, the physicians and administrative team are shockingly unprofessional and discourteous. Their recently implemented WhatsApp system is completely dysfunctional. They outright rejected prescribing medication that I was subsequently able to easily purchase through Superdrug's online platform. Frankly, I'd strongly recommend using Superdrug's online medical service over this GP practice.

At 44 years old, the new watts app system is absolutely terrible. Despite being tech-savvy, I'm deeply concerned about how the majority of their patients will cope. To make matters worse, their phone line is completely non-functional. Did they even consider consulting patients before removing the 'ask my GP' feature? The surgery has become a truly distressing situation. It's truly unfortunate because the staff themselves are genuinely wonderful.

Frustrating healthcare experience with unhelpful technology
Absolutely terrible customer service where you're now forced to navigate through an automated chatbot for every single interaction, whether it's scheduling an appointment or requesting medication. The receptionists seem to be relying entirely on a WhatsApp chat system, which is ridiculous considering they're physically located just meters away from the doctors' offices. To make matters worse, they're declining to process referrals and instead redirecting patients to a pain clinic that is completely ineffective at providing any meaningful assistance.

The customer support was excellent previously with the ASKMYGP platform, but now it has shifted to WhatsApp. I find this change quite unprofessional, irritating, and inefficient. The recently introduced appointment scheduling process is absolutely dreadful. I cannot comprehend how they've managed to deteriorate an already challenging system. I dialed at 8 o'clock and waited in the queue until 9, only to be told when someone finally answered that they were completely fully booked. Truthfully, Brook Surgery was previously considered one of the finest medical practices, but with this new appointment approach, it's utterly shocking. It's become a complete mockery. If this situation persists, more patients will become frustrated and start seeking alternative healthcare providers.

Gp request process was confusing and frustrating
Initially, I registered with the surgery and submitted a request to a GP, which seemed to be approved. At first, the process felt somewhat complicated, though that might just be my perception. Nonetheless, this method is far more convenient than endlessly waiting on the phone or sending messages through the old GP system. Kudos to the team. Update — Despite believing my request was granted, I was mistaken and still needed to phone for an appointment, even after receiving a response about requiring an annual review. Today's appointment was with a Paramedic, not a doctor. While she appeared pleasant, the entire consultation was utterly futile. I explained my concerns, and her primary response was, "What do you want me to do today?" She mentioned blood tests, which I assumed would be conducted immediately. I attempted to discuss combining my upcoming hospital follow-up test with today's appointment, but she did nothing. No blood pressure check, no blood tests - she merely instructed me to ensure comprehensive testing on Wednesday. I'm thoroughly frustrated by this pointless appointment. I cannot recall my last proper doctor consultation. In my opinion, Paramedics should remain focused on ambulance work. The surgery's quality has significantly deteriorated since I joined 3-4 years ago, and I am deeply disappointed and angry about today's experience.
