Yes it's a very good practice for me personally who doesn't need to personally visit the surgery. I'm often happy to speak over the telephone or on WhatsApp but appreciate that this isn't for everyone.

I’m not there very often thankfully but when I needed to be last year the staff were wonderful the service was amazing and the whole team are excellent and efficient, you can’t fault them for there dedication to there profession. We ought to treasure what is left of our amazing NHS workers in this day and age. The staff at Brooke are a rare breed. I will always speak good of them. Well deserved praise in my opinion.

I have been a patient at the Brooke surgery since 1995 and have seen a gradual positive improvement. In the 30 years some of the changes have not always been beneficial to me but I appreciate that due to the increased patient base and increased staff I can’t expect a personal service and relationship with the one doctor I was signed up with.

I recently used the reliable messaging service chat doc on WhatsApp. Hannah a GP assistant who was professional, friendly and fast at responding replied within an hour and offered me an appointment for the same day at 5pm but sadly I couldn’t make that. 8.30am the next morning Sophie another GP assistant messaged stating she had referred me over to Hyde hub where someone would ring me to offer an appointment which they did. The service and care shown from Hannah and Sophie was fantastic. Thank you to the both of you.

I recently moved into the area from North Manchester. I have never experienced such quick responses and appointment availability in the past, it has always been very difficult. However this surgery’s new booking system allows you to request specific services with an instant response and they always try to accommodate you as soon as possible.

This practice continues to improve the appointment booking system. Introduction of technology Is making an impact and improving the system making it much easier. The introduction of Watsapp in particular has improved the system dramatically. Overall the service it delivers is a vast improvement on my previous experience elsewhere.

I was seen twice firstly by a Paramedic and later by an ACP. My first appointment was thorough and professional however one of my symptoms was sadly overlooked. I returned a second time to discuss this enduring symptom and felt very reassured by the outcome which resulted in an appointment at TGH 4 days later. While I wouldn’t hesitate to see either of these professionals again, however I think deeper consideration might be given to matching patients with the most appropriate practitioner.
