Terrible Wait for Sick Baby on Monday Morning

I've been a loyal patient at this medical practice for years without significant issues. However, yesterday (Monday morning), my experience was deeply frustrating. After waiting 20 minutes on hold after the phone lines opened, I was informed that no appointments were available for my critically ill 10-month-old daughter. She was not eating, not drinking, screaming in pain, and visibly distressed. They dismissively suggested I contact urgent care, which ultimately led to us ending up in the emergency room hours later. The hospital diagnosed her with low blood sugar, dehydration, high fever, and gastroenteritis. The medical staff explicitly stated that the practice should not have refused to see a child under one year old. As a result, I am preparing a formal complaint to be submitted to the practice manager, as their negligence potentially endangered my child's health.

Scheduling an appointment is impossible, and even if you manage to book one, you'll inevitably be left waiting well past your designated time. The front desk staff are discourteous and provide absolutely no assistance whatsoever.

Nightmare Getting an Appointment at This Practice

Getting an appointment here is practically a futile endeavor, assuming you can even get someone to pick up the phone. The receptionists are unbearably condescending, acting like they're medical professionals themselves. You're instructed to call back at 2:30, and when you do, they're completely booked and tell you to try again in the morning. It's an absolute mockery of what used to be a reputable medical practice. The appointment system and staff's attitude have completely undermined the quality of this once-good doctors' office.

Phone Lines Never Answered at This Practice

Truthfully, the physicians are excellent once you secure a consultation. However, the medical practice's quality of service has significantly deteriorated compared to its previous state! In the past, you'd need to repeatedly dial the surgery around 40 times right when they open just to schedule an appointment. Now, they don't even answer the phone at all. It's becoming absolutely absurd and falls far short of the standard of care patients should expect.

Impossible to Book an Appointment Here

Getting an appointment here is incredibly frustrating. The phone line is constantly busy, making it nearly impossible to schedule a consultation. Even after repeatedly trying to get through, you'll likely find all slots are already taken. If you're working, you might actually recover from your illness before securing a slot. The medical staff themselves seem fine, but the booking system is absolutely dreadful.

I've been attempting to call this medical practice for three consecutive days after 11:30am, as suggested by their recorded message. Their phone remains unanswered, which is absolutely unacceptable! I sincerely hope they improve their patient communication, or I will definitely be seeking care elsewhere. Finally managed to get through after half an hour of persistent dialing.
