Absolutely terrible front desk staff with zero empathy who completely ruin the entire medical experience. Their unprofessional attitude makes visiting this clinic unbearable. The receptionist's conduct is so disrespectful and dismissive that it transforms a simple doctor's appointment into an utterly miserable ordeal.

Like many urban medical centers, this practice operates under significant strain, largely due to the growing elderly population with complex health conditions. Despite these challenges, I typically secure an appointment within a short timeframe, and when an urgent matter arises, I can request a doctor's callback, which has always been promptly fulfilled. It would be unfortunate to overlook the numerous positive attributes of this medical practice.

Rude receptionist ruins patient's medical experience

I arrived at Cedar Practice's back entrance to drop off a urine sample as my physician, Hesha da Silva (who is quite caring), had requested. Given that blood samples are typically collected in this area, I thought my approach made sense. However, the receptionist's response was shockingly unprofessional. Rather than politely guiding me to the correct location, she became hostile. She appeared unable to comprehend my request and loudly proclaimed, within earshot of another patient attempting to assist me, 'We aren't a hospital, and we don't accept urine samples here. Find another place.' The encounter was mortifyingly humiliating, and her abrasive demeanor has completely discouraged me from seeking any future medical assistance from this practice. Additionally, the telephone staff's attitude is equally poor - I'm tempted to submit my resume to demonstrate proper patient communication techniques. It's clear the front desk staff desperately need comprehensive communication training.

Her approach instantly put me at ease, and she was meticulous in her examination. As a charming parting note, she shared an interesting cultural perspective about life starting at 42 in her home country, encouraging me to embrace the moment! :)

I arrived with a rather ambiguous discomfort, and the physician astutely recommended an urgent referral to the Homerton, where the specialist accurately diagnosed the issue and offered a prompt remedy. Without the Cedar Practice's immediate attention, their exceptional medical professionals, and their excellent connections at the Homerton, my outcome could have been very different. My deepest gratitude! Their appointment scheduling is particularly impressive: call in the morning; receive a callback instead of being stuck on hold; get a direct consultation with the doctor; and secure a same-day appointment if they determine an in-person examination is necessary. Swift, streamlined, and eliminating unnecessary waiting time on the phone.
