Terrible service and rude staff at local gp surgery

I've been a patient at this medical practice for nearly three decades, and the quality has dramatically deteriorated. The reception staff, particularly Mary, are incredibly discourteous and dismissive. When I visited to inquire about blood test procedures and necessary forms, I was met with eye rolls and condescending remarks. I mentioned my previous experience of easily booking a blood test and receiving a slip, but the receptionist rudely directed me to book online and register, dramatically rolling her eyes when I sought clarification about the specific website. She aggressively emphasized "the cedar practice" in a tone that suggested I was incompetent. Furthermore, she informed me that no appointments were available until March and when I requested to schedule a consultation with a GP regarding additional health concerns, she begrudgingly asked for my birth date. She then proceeded to challenge the necessity of my appointment, stating in a dismissive manner that it was "a waste of everyone's time" and that I should simply book the blood test online. This interaction is not an isolated incident, and I am seriously contemplating changing healthcare providers due to the consistently unprofessional and hostile treatment I receive.

Terrible service with unhelpful and rude receptionist

The front desk staff member displayed a dismissive and unprofessional attitude, repeatedly interrupting me and suggesting I use Google to resolve my problem, despite my repeated explanations that I had already spent a week searching online without success. Her demeanor and vocal tone were clearly disengaged right from the beginning of her shift, which made me wonder how much worse she might become as the day progresses! When I requested to be connected with the administrative assistant as previously recommended, she instead transferred me to another receptionist, Perpetua, who fortunately was courteous and actually helpful. Mercifully for the initial unhelpful employee, Perpetua was not willing to disclose her name! The first receptionist certainly knows who she is, and it might be in everyone's best interest if she considers finding a role that better suits her temperament and customer service skills!

Terrible service ruins patient experience at cedar practice

Throughout my decades-long relationship with Cedar Practice, the quality of service has steadily declined. Last Thursday, I arrived for my 9:00 AM appointment and believed I had checked in by 8:50 AM. However, the receptionist was engrossed in conversation with a coworker and completely overlooked my check-in, leading to a 30-minute unnecessary delay. I was unaware of this oversight until I approached the desk again. When I discovered the error, she merely apologized and informed me I would be seen after another patient, which further extended my wait time. This unprofessional behavior caused me to be late for work, resulting in workplace reprimands and ruining my entire day. Instead of focusing on their professional responsibilities, the staff appears more interested in idle chatter. Such incompetence is totally unacceptable, and I am now thoroughly discouraged from returning to this practice.

Terrible customer service from unhelpful healthcare provider

Absolutely terrible customer service from GPS staff who resort to yelling at vulnerable individuals over the phone. Their approach is completely unprofessional and unsympathetic. When it comes to managing chronic pain, they demonstrate zero understanding or compassion. Their support is essentially useless for serious health issues, with their only competence seemingly limited to basic conditions like common colds or flu that people can easily handle themselves at home.

Terrible place

I am not even sure where to start 3 months ago i tried to register Somehow the first attempt didnt work Then the application did go through and i was told i am not registered until i did a health check. However they didnt have any appointments available.. I explained that i need medication and would get extremly unwell if i didnt have them - the reception then had told me to shush and that i talk too much... After weeks (at this point without medication btw. ) i was booked for a healthcheck. Upon arrival i find out it never had been booked. I then registered elsewhere and still have physical issues due to being off medication for almost a month Suddenly i start receiving letters from the cedar practice. About booking a smear test... 4 letters in total. Also received ceveral texts. Then they started calling me DAILY(i picked up each time abd told them i dont wish to book) When i received the calls i explained i am not registered and also would have booked a smear if i wanted to...and i do not wish to. The receptionist then criticised my german accent and called me aggressive. Apparently german accents are aggressive and a german is supposed to have the same accent as any other more soft spoken nationality. I told her my calls are automatically recorded on my phone. Suddenly she started apologising and said she did a mistake (what a toddler mentality) I asked for a call from the manager. the day after the practice manager called me. I started explaining..manager cut me short and told me im rude for not wishing to book a smear...(?) And also disregarded the whole racist comments about my accent. I told her also that my phone records all calls and that it will be taken further. I ended the call..and she called again! Wanting to argue. The staff and even manager have totally lost the plot. Ive never experienced such low class behaviour in a medical set. A kindergarden is more civilised than this place.😂
