I've been attempting to schedule a medical consultation since early morning, desperately needing antibiotics due to my current illness. The only way to secure an appointment is by phone, but each time I call, the automated system repeatedly claims the Cedar Practice is closed, despite it being 8:30 in the morning. No actual staff member is picking up the call, leaving me frustrated and without medical assistance. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service.

What a complete farce. As I prepare for international travel, I'm trying to get my vaccinations. Scheduling seems impossible since they demand I physically show up at the clinic to complete some mysterious form, which then requires a potential 6-week waiting period before I can even book an actual appointment. The entire procedure is utterly ridiculous, mind-numbingly inefficient, and profoundly frustrating.

They don't show any concern for patients, I've been struggling for three days to schedule a consultation. Their automated system claims you must call between 8 and 11 for bookings, but when you actually dial, they instruct you to call precisely at 8. Moreover, if I'm unwell right now, how am I supposed to plan an appointment five days from now? What sort of support is this?

Excellent medical care since 1996 with great gps

I'm genuinely puzzled by the negative feedback here and suspect some might be deliberately provocative. My personal journey has been completely different. After experiencing two subpar medical practices initially, I've been a patient here since 1996 and couldn't be more satisfied. The general practitioners are consistently outstanding - thoroughly professional, compassionate, efficient, and incredibly patient with me. While the reception staff can occasionally seem stressed and weary from dealing with challenging patients, potentially coming across as slightly abrupt, they remain fundamentally helpful and supportive. Booking appointments here is significantly more straightforward compared to the GP surgery where I work. I've consistently managed to secure consultations with my preferred doctor, typically within 2-3 weeks for routine matters, which suits me perfectly. Moreover, during urgent situations requiring immediate attention, I've always been either seen promptly or received a callback. Given the current challenges facing general practice, I consider myself extremely fortunate and thoroughly content with this medical practice.

Terrible service from unprofessional and discriminatory receptionist

Absolutely the most terrible encounter with front desk staff I've ever experienced. Angela, an African American employee, acts as if she's a medical expert when she clearly isn't. She completely refused to assist my three-year-old child. Her demeanor was hostile and unprofessional, and she even went so far as to remove me from the patient roster without any notification or explanation (simply because she could). She represents the entire practice, and the management should be ashamed of her conduct.

Terrible medical practice with rude and unhelpful staff

This medical practice desperately needs to be shut down. It seems they consistently ignore phone calls during the 8:30-9:30am window. Getting through to them is practically impossible, rendering their service utterly useless. On the rare occasion you actually connect with someone, they dismissively advise drinking water without making any genuine attempt to diagnose or understand your health concerns. The staff exhibit an arrogant attitude and treat patients with complete disrespect, forgetting that many patients likely have more significant social standing than they do. They are an exceptionally unprofessional and discourteous group, with the older staff members being particularly problematic. Their incompetence is truly astounding.
