Terrible service and suspicious review manipulation

I've had to repost my 2-star review after its initial removal. The core issues persist. At our age, my 78-year-old wife and I have yet to actually see or be formally invited to consult with our designated general practitioner. The automated phone greeting misleadingly suggests that a GP handles appointment triage, which is patently false. In reality, the receptionist determines when a phone consultation occurs. I was initially scheduled for a telephone consultation three weeks out. Interestingly, within half a day of publishing my critical review, my appointment was abruptly cancelled, with a new slot assigned that pushed my consultation back an additional week, supposedly due to 'unforeseen circumstances'. I understand healthcare resources are constrained, but medical practices must improve their operational capacity. Each time I contact the surgery, the staff sound overwhelmed and stressed. This level of service is simply unacceptable.

Disappointing decline in care at local surgery

We've traditionally been impressed with this medical practice, but recent family appointments suggest a shift towards cost-cutting measures. While I recognize the immense challenges facing our NHS and its financial constraints, we've increasingly felt dismissed and belittled. Despite these frustrations, Dr. De Georgio remains an absolute standout professional - her genuine commitment to patient care is remarkable, which likely explains the lengthy wait times to see her. She alone would merit a five-star rating! Unfortunately, the overall quality of care has deteriorated to such an extent that we're now seeking treatment elsewhere. For anyone booking an appointment, I sincerely hope you're fortunate enough to consult one of the two remaining compassionate physicians.
