Cedars surgery delivers excellent care for families
I've been a patient at Cedars surgery for quite some time, and I was surprised to see their low Google rating, which might be reflective of outdated feedback. In our experience, the practice and its team are exceptionally attentive and professional. The reception staff stand out as particularly impressive, handling queries efficiently and demonstrating extensive knowledge about most medical matters. Great service with a few appointment challenges
The reception team consistently greets me with warmth and assistance. Getting in to see the physician doesn't typically involve much of a wait. Booking an appointment, though, can be tricky - my advice is to call early in the day. One of the doctors explained they have limited consultation slots. As with most services, the experience varies; some aspects are satisfactory while others fall short of expectations.

Terrible reception ruins what could be perfect care
The reception team is incredibly frustrating, misplacing my children's vaccine documentation from Portugal and then turning around to criticize me for their own mistake. They consistently struggle to provide clear, helpful information. The medical staff and nurses are excellent, and if not for the reception's incompetence, I would have awarded a perfect rating. The reception staff never fail to disappoint. I recently attempted to schedule an appointment and spoke with a representative who informed me they were fully booked for the morning but suggested I call back at 1:30 PM to book an afternoon slot. When I asked to book immediately, she explained the afternoon slots were locked and unbookable at that moment. I've tried to understand the reasoning behind this bizarre booking system, but no logical explanation exists. They simply open slots for half a day, forcing patients to repeatedly call and hope for availability. Seemingly, I'm the only person who finds this approach absurd and inefficient.

The receptionist displayed a complete lack of compassion. Despite being booked for my cervical screening and experiencing train delays beyond my control, she coldly stated it wasn't her problem and refused to accommodate me seeing the nurse. Steer clear of this medical practice at all costs... and if Dr. Stawartz is your physician, he'll likely botch your diagnosis, potentially ruining your life or leading to fatal consequences. I'm utterly baffled by how he's maintained his medical license, let alone been entrusted with running a surgical practice. Numerous individuals, myself included, have suffered from his incorrect diagnoses, with some tragically losing their lives. Recently, while conversing with a nurse at another clinic, she brought up Cedars Surgery, and the moment I mentioned Stawartz, she shared, "He misdiagnosed my friend." This raises serious suspicions about whether he's a doctor who takes pleasure in harming patients. An official investigation into his practices is long overdue!

Terrible service and unhelpful medical staff nightmare
The front desk staff were incredibly discourteous and dismissive, completely disregarding patient concerns. I consulted with both the physician and medical consultant via video consultation, who advised me to secure an urgent appointment through my general practitioner. However, when I contacted the GP's office, the receptionist flatly refused, claiming it wasn't a life-threatening emergency, despite me explaining that the doctors had specifically recommended booking an appointment after our hospital visit. Her refusal was particularly frustrating, especially since she had no comprehensive understanding of my medical situation. Their constant reliance on COVID-related excuses is becoming extremely tiresome and unprofessional.
