Reception staff could be more welcoming

I am pleased I transferred from this medical practice as I found the experience unsatisfactory. In particular, I felt that one member of the reception team displayed unhelpful behaviour and seemed to overstep their role. While most of the clinical staff were adequate, I had a negative experience with one practitioner who I felt lacked engagement with patients. I believe the practice would benefit from improved staff training in customer service and a more patient-focused approach from all team members.

Reception kept asking what was wrong repeatedly

Waited for over an hour before being informed that there had been a technical issue affecting the system for the previous couple of hours and that we would need to reschedule. It was quite urgent that my young grandchild be seen. The reception staff asked multiple times about the reason for the visit, which felt repetitive across different interactions. The waiting area was very busy that day, and I felt there was limited privacy during these conversations. I would consider this when deciding whether to return in future.

Reception staff were helpful but doctors weren't

The reception team and nursing staff were pleasant and helpful. However, I found the approach of some other staff members, including those at the associated pharmacy, to be unwelcoming and dismissive. There were instances where I felt the level of knowledge and professionalism fell short of what I would expect.
