Despite not being the surgical patient, I had scheduled a flu shot via the NHS website. Upon arrival, I found the clinic completely shuttered, with absolutely no staff present. I'm uncertain if anyone else has encountered such an frustrating situation.

Ikram's terrible management ruined my care

Ikram Khan proves to be an incompetent practice manager, completely out of his depth. His demeanor is shockingly unprofessional, disrespectful, and seemingly indifferent to patient welfare. I've never encountered such problematic behavior from a medical professional before. While the rest of the staff at the surgery are excellent, Ikram, who claims the title of "practice manager," is utterly incompetent. Over the past three years, he has repeatedly denied me essential medical treatment, with each incident meticulously documented. I strongly caution anyone against registering with this practice. My recommendation is to switch to Oak Tree Medical Centre instead.

Ridiculous wait for basic prescription help

Nothing new that when you schedule an advance appointment, they have zero availability for at least 8 weeks, and calling the emergency line for same-day slots leaves you holding for an hour with no results. But today was an absolutely appalling and revolting encounter I utilized econsult for a recurring prescription and received a text instructing me to book an appointment When I called, I clarified that the medication wasn't on her repeat list despite being regularly prescribed The receptionist stated she would verify with the medical team I naively assumed an actual doctor 🤣. After 10 minutes on hold, she returned saying the medical team required me to book an appointment I questioned which doctor had made this determination, and upon pressing her, she revealed that another receptionist named Maryam constitutes the "medical team"! 🤣 Seriously, when did receptionists start making medical decisions! Apparently no medical degree is needed - just become a receptionist Seriously, get this practice sorted out!!!!!

I never got my blood test results. Additionally, I'm baffled by why they scheduled me at an incorrect time and then had a physician phone me to say he's leaving before my designated appointment slot. This practice is absolutely chaotic - how can all the bureaucratic nonsense surrounding "Redbridge school streets" not support a medical clinic that operates with basic competence? I've witnessed situations where individuals have been disrespectful to the reception staff, demanding immediate appointments despite a full schedule. We're all familiar with the established protocol for booking appointments, and it functions effectively. They even provide the option of scheduling you at the health center when no slots are available. I can't comprehend why some people claim they're unfriendly. On the contrary, they're always accommodating, compassionate, supportive, and take the time to engage with children who visit. We wouldn't consider changing our healthcare provider for anything.

Terrible staff ruined my entire experience

The staff at the front desk display a shocking lack of professionalism and basic customer service skills. They seem more interested in being confrontational than actually addressing patient needs and appear completely deaf to any requests. The management is equally problematic, with the manager demonstrating a pompous attitude and clear incompetence. They only take action when external pressure from the hospital forces their hand. If the rating system allowed it, I would absolutely assign them the lowest possible score.
