It's incredibly challenging to secure an appointment at this medical practice. Patients are forced to either wait in a long queue before opening hours or attempt to schedule via telephone. The process is incredibly exasperating - spending over three-quarters of an hour on hold, only to be ultimately denied an appointment and told to try again later. While the physicians themselves are competent during actual consultations, the scheduling system is so dysfunctional that getting medical attention seems nearly impossible. Smear test blocked my gp registration
I encountered an absolutely unacceptable situation. My goal was to sign up with the medical practice to address my knee issue. Surprisingly, they demanded a cervical screening as a precondition for registration. When I explained that I had undergone this screening within the past three years, though I couldn't recall the exact date, they still declined to register me and instead scheduled me for a compulsory screening. I'm bewildered by this requirement - since when is a cervical screening mandatory for healthcare registration? The reception staff were incredibly discourteous. This feels like a form of discriminatory treatment. I can't imagine a male patient being told he must undergo a rectal exam just to be registered with a medical practice. The whole experience seemed inappropriate and invasive.

I submitted a repeat prescription form for a diabetes patient with urgent needs, and they took a full two weeks to forward it to the pharmacy. I've been attempting to reach out to the surgery since December 30th, 2022, and it's taken around two and a half hours just to connect with someone. I've been promised callback twice, yet nothing has materialized. It's now January 9th, 2023, and I'm still suffering in pain. It's no surprise that Accident & Emergency departments are overwhelmed when general practitioner surgeries aren't fulfilling their basic responsibilities.

They consistently place calls on hold and after the scheduled appointment window closes, they flatly refuse to reschedule. While the doctors themselves are compassionate and welcoming, securing an appointment feels like an unpredictable game of chance. It's unacceptable that they treat healthcare, especially for children, as some random lottery. The school administration demands medical documentation, but how can patients obtain such proof when the GP's staff is so unhelpful? I absolutely will not recommend this practice to anyone in my social circle. During one particularly aggravating attempt, I dialed 161 times within just half an hour and still couldn't secure an appointment. This general practice is so inefficient that patients are not only left without medical care but also forced to bear unnecessary call charges. Registration forms lost again
I submitted my registration and my son's in August, with the staff member stapling the forms together and assuring me that once I was registered, my son would be too. A few weeks later, when attempting to schedule his immunizations, I was informed that a new application was needed as his original form had been lost. I completed and submitted another form on September 16th. For the past two weeks, I've been repeatedly calling the GP to book his appointment, but he remains unregistered. Each time, I'm told they'll search for the form and call back, yet I haven't received a single update. Additionally, no matter when I call, I'm consistently left on hold for 40-50 minutes before anyone answers. Frustrated, I plan to visit the office in person tomorrow to resolve this ongoing issue.

Every time I attempt to reach out, I'm guaranteed to spend at least half an hour to 40 minutes on hold just to get a simple query addressed. Even when you physically arrive at the location, you're stuck waiting in line for 10 to 15 minutes - which can seriously disrupt your scheduled appointment. Their entire process urgently requires an overhaul. That being said, once you successfully navigate past the front desk, the medical professionals and healthcare staff are truly outstanding.

Extremely discourteous and discriminatory receptionist with a short temper. She made me wait for 40 minutes and then told me to wait some more, despite having a small child with me who was getting restless. When I initially inquired, she provided no information at all.
