Truly outstanding session. Attended my physiotherapy consultation today, and the therapist was exceptional. Throughout my multiple private physiotherapy treatments for this rotator cuff injury, I've never experienced such a comprehensive examination. Not only did he thoroughly assess my original condition, but he also detected an additional injury in my left shoulder. I had my Diabetic eye examination with the INCREDIBLE LAURA, who is genuinely compassionate and absolutely amazing. She makes you feel completely comfortable and is simply OUTSTANDING. A massive thank you to LAURA 💓 I am incredibly appreciative, and I'd also like to acknowledge the WONDERFUL RECEPTIONISTS on the second floor, whose names I unfortunately didn't catch. My appointment was on August 1st, 2024. I consistently choose this clinic for my Diabetic eye screenings because the entire team is so REMARKABLE.

Heartless clinic adds stress to cancer patient's struggle

Recently diagnosed with brain cancer, I found myself in a distressing situation when my medication was running low. I reached out to the Elms medical practice for a prescription refill, only to be met with an inflexible response from the receptionist. Despite my challenging circumstances of undergoing daily chemotherapy and radiology, with extremely limited mobility, I was told I must physically come to the practice to obtain my medication. This directly contradicts the assurance I received from Dr. Snowdon just last week, who had promised that my needs would be accommodated with a simple phone call. The receptionist seemed determined to create unnecessary obstacles, even suggesting I download an app called Patches. This experience represents a deeply disappointing and callous approach to patient care, falling far short of the support one would expect during such a critical health journey.

Worst medical service ever complete waste of time

Total waste of time! Attempted to call on Monday, but was told the call list was maxed out and to retry later. When I called back, zero appointments were open. Advised to ring the next morning, which I did. Got stuck at 31st in line, endured a 59-minute wait just to reach the front, only to be informed that no doctors are present at the Blacon clinic today. Absolutely ridiculous and infuriating! 😡

I participated in a comprehensive workshop focused on Blood pressure and Cholesterol, held on the 3rd floor of the fountains health centre, which was organized by the Elms team located on the 2nd floor. The 30-minute session provided valuable insights into dietary recommendations, highlighting beneficial and harmful food choices, along with additional wellness strategies like exercise. The presentation was expertly delivered, highly informative, engaging, and captivating. Kudos to the Elms team. I've just completed my registration at Elms Medical Centre. The receptionist was incredibly kind, providing me with the necessary paper forms and even guiding me to a table where I could fill them out. She was both friendly and professional, informing me that I should anticipate an email soon and clearly explaining how to book appointments. The facility itself is wonderfully spacious and well-lit. The GPS navigation at this clinic was fine before, but recent staff changes have been concerning. Today, a staff member actually resorted to searching Google to diagnose my daughter's rash, and seemed shocked that I own a digital thermometer for home temperature checks. I was left completely bewildered and disappointed by the unprofessional approach to medical care. 😳

Exceptional appointment with a new doctor at the Elms Chester, despite being a long-time patient who had never consulted this particular physician before. During the consultation, when I was feeling particularly unwell, the GP conducted a thorough examination while engaging me in conversation and getting to know me better. Following the check-up, he promptly sent a prescription to my local pharmacy. By the end of the consultation, I left the surgery feeling significantly improved compared to when I first arrived, and I made sure to shake his hand and express my gratitude for his care.
