In a healthcare setting where vulnerable and ill individuals seek assistance, one would expect a compassionate and welcoming receptionist. Terrible medical practice with poor diagnosis and staff
As a university student away from home, I had to find a new GP in the south. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend The Elms Medical Practice for several critical reasons. When I sought treatment for an ear infection, they prescribed a spray that proved completely ineffective. Upon returning home and consulting my original GP, I discovered they had incorrectly diagnosed me, mistakenly prescribing an external treatment when I actually needed antibiotics for an internal infection. What's more, it seemed the GP at Elms simply searched my symptoms on Google for diagnosis. Additionally, I was suffering from a severe sore throat and persistent dry cough that prevented me from sleeping, making breathing difficult. When I visited them about these symptoms and swollen glands, instead of prescribing antibiotics, they merely suggested over-the-counter medication. The reception staff were equally problematic - consistently dismissive and patronizing. They also repeatedly recorded my personal information incorrectly, requiring me to request corrections multiple times before they were addressed. Ultimately, I have since changed medical practices and strongly caution others against registering with The Elms Medical Practice.

Utterly appalling. My infant has been pending a specialist consultation for nearly half a year, and they completely neglected to submit the referral multiple times. The front desk personnel have repeatedly fabricated stories and provided inconsistent information to me! I cannot stress enough how much I advise against this place - they show zero concern for pediatric cases.

Worst care service ever terrible staff and management
The most discourteous group of employees in the healthcare sector. Front desk personnel who are persistently ill-tempered, discourteous, and aggravating, with a tendency to contradict each other over straightforward requests and administrative tasks. One employee will commit to a specific action, only to have another staff member claim it's impossible the following day. Staff consistently evade accountability and refuse to provide their names when confronted about their statements. Then there's the 'Practice Manager' - quite frankly, she requires substantial improvement in management skills. Setting aside her inability to supervise a small reception team, or her staff's complete lack of understanding regarding basic workflow processes, we're left with a 'manager' who cannot communicate effectively with clients, fails to control her employees, and is incompetent at resolving issues. It's entirely predictable that such staff would behave this way when the root of the problem stems from incompetence at the leadership level. These individuals would not survive a single day in a professional environment where performance standards are both expected and maintained. Not a single day.
