I attended for a routine cardiovascular assessment but was instead recommended to undergo a specialist procedure on my digestive system, which felt like an unnecessary escalation. Additionally, after being informed that no clinicians were available and subsequently contacting the out-of-hours service to arrange a telephone consultation, the call did not arrive at the scheduled time. The practice, which previously had an excellent reputation locally, now feels disappointing. I find it regrettable to express this, but I feel compelled to share my honest experience. I would rate this experience much lower if possible. I have experienced repeated instances where my health concerns were not adequately addressed. Multiple issues were attributed to hormonal factors or anxiety without proper investigation. I felt compelled to seek private medical care to obtain a proper diagnosis, which revealed a different condition entirely, along with other undiagnosed issues. The level of attentiveness and empathy I received fell significantly short of what I would expect from healthcare provision.

I would rate this experience extremely poorly if lower ratings were available. The standard of care provided was disappointing. Following laboratory testing, I was informed that I would need to attend an appointment to complete paperwork before my results could be discussed with me. Being unable to access information about my own test outcomes and the reference ranges used felt inappropriate and disrespectful. The receptionist's manner during this interaction came across as dismissive and discourteous. Given my background in a scientific field, I found it particularly frustrating that I could not obtain straightforward information about my results. Struggling to reach anyone after decades here
I have been a patient at this practice for over 40 years. In earlier times, the service was excellent. However, the past decade has seen a noticeable decline in quality. I found the service to be disappointing. I submitted an e-consult but felt that a key part of my initial request was overlooked. When I followed up by phone the next day to check on progress, I was informed that a request would be sent to the clinical team that same day. I called again the following day for an update and experienced a lengthy wait on hold before the call was disconnected. Once I managed to reconnect, I was asked whether I had made the original request, and was told another request would be sent to the clinical team. I raised concerns about the phone difficulties, and while I was given an explanation about staffing levels, I felt this did not adequately account for the call being dropped after such a long wait time.

After completing the online form, I was advised that an in-person appointment would be necessary. When I attempted to call back to arrange this, I was unable to reach anyone. The staff displayed a lack of courtesy during my visit. A team member departed before their scheduled time, and I was scheduled for a blood test the following day.
