I've awarded TFP a perfect score because I'm genuinely convinced that every member of their team demonstrates consistent attentiveness and support. Throughout my extensive experience, the General Practitioners - whether Directors or Associate GPs - are exceptional professionals who consistently exceed expectations, as do their nursing staff and reception team. The Arts and Craft building, formerly a Theological College, offers a waiting room environment that is both expansive and serene, effectively counterbalancing any potential clinical sterility! I sincerely hope to remain with TFP as I continue to age, and it's a primary reason why I've maintained my residence of 40 years within my 83-year lifetime.

Frustrating healthcare with zero appointment availability

Getting an appointment here is incredibly challenging. Their callback system is ineffective because by the time they contact you, all available slots have vanished. They only open bookings for a minimal number of days ahead, unlike other medical practices that schedule routine appointments up to two weeks in advance, especially when recommended by a doctor or consultant. They lack an offline registration or triage process that many other practices successfully use. Their approach seems inadequate and inflexible. When you review their responses to patient concerns, they consistently deflect responsibility, claiming it's a widespread national issue. However, other healthcare providers manage to offer advance bookings, proper triage, and offline forms that can be evaluated and processed. Ultimately, the poor service quality forced me to switch to a different medical practice.

Horrible service and unprofessional medical staff

STEER CLEAR OF THIS MEDICAL PRACTICE! Whenever my daughter attempts to contact them, she's treated with absolute disrespect. The front desk staff are possibly the most discourteous individuals I've ever encountered. They constantly interrupt during phone conversations, and one even had the audacity to snap, "Don't talk over me while I'm speaking" in an incredibly hostile manner when we were merely seeking medical guidance. Avoid this clinic at all costs or demand they replace their reception team. They're notorious for dismissively claiming they "can't assist" when patients are seeking basic advice.

The appointment scheduling process is incredibly frustrating. It requires you to be glued to your phone precisely when the lines open at 8am, which is impractical for people with varying schedules. The online booking system is severely limited, cutting off registrations after a certain point and simply instructing patients to retry the next day. This inflexibility is particularly ridiculous since these restrictions apply even to pre-planned appointments, not just same-day slots. For instance, even if your doctor recommends booking an appointment two weeks in advance, you're forced to navigate the chaotic 8am rush just three days before the desired date. Despite these scheduling challenges, the actual medical care received is of high quality.

I recently visited this medical facility, and from the initial booking call to my consultation, every interaction was exceptional! The doctor was incredibly compassionate and engaging - we even had a fascinating discussion about AI and its applications! I'd give this experience a perfect 10/10 and absolutely recommend it. Her demeanor was aggressively hostile, disrespectful to both myself and the Boots pharmacist who was attempting to support my case. Throughout our interaction, she consistently interrupted, jumped to incorrect conclusions without hearing the complete context, and maintained a thoroughly dismissive attitude. With a rare spinal nerve condition that even Southmead declined to address, I credit this surgery for my significantly better health compared to others nationwide. Without their support, I could have faced potential paralysis, as they believed my concerns when local neurologists dismissed them (which is now evident on scans, though it wasn't initially). While I still experience challenges, I'm considered a rare success story for this condition. They collaborated effectively with my out-of-area neurologist and consistently provided appointments when needed. Their previous phone system issues have markedly improved, and you can typically secure an appointment within days by calling at 8am. I'm deeply appreciative of their assistance, and every doctor I've encountered has been outstanding. Even with minor administrative errors in my records, these have been promptly and efficiently resolved whenever I brought them to their attention.
