Feedback across this file reveals a stark contrast between clinical care and administrative operations. Medical professionals, particularly certain physicians, receive consistent praise for professionalism, compassion, and attentive patient care with meticulous attention to detail. However, reception and administrative staff experience widespread criticism for discourteous behaviour, poor communication, and unresponsiveness. Patients report persistent difficulties with phone access, appointment availability, booking processes, and prescription management, with long waiting times and communication breakdowns cited repeatedly. The reception experience emerges as a significant concern, with multiple accounts of unhelpful staff, lack of courtesy, and organisational issues affecting patient access to care.
While some patients describe exceptional clinical experiences and supportive team interactions, the overall service pattern indicates substantial gaps between the quality of medical consultation and the accessibility and courtesy of administrative functions. Appointment scheduling, phone responsiveness, and prescription processing present ongoing challenges that appear to undermine confidence in the practice despite positive feedback about individual clinicians.

Rude Receptionist Gazala Ignored My Concerns
If there were a zero-star rating, this place would earn it. The surgery is an absolute disaster, and the receptionist staff, particularly one named Gazala, behaves like a bouncer with an appalling attitude, treating patients with complete disrespect. Today, they demonstrated shocking negligence towards my mother's medical needs and flatly refused to assist in resolving a critical issue. The receptionist continuously talked over me, showing zero interest in my concerns. I ultimately forced her to acknowledge her fault, leaving her speechless. When she was clearly in the wrong, her colleague resorted to the typical dismissive tactic of repeatedly saying, "calm down, calm down." It was a blatant case of professional negligence, with the receptionist deliberately obstructing my attempts to ensure my mother received her essential medication.

Frustrating wait times at local clinic
It's extremely discourteous how this medical practice operates, and whenever you attempt to contact them, they claim no available appointments, seemingly reserving slots exclusively for Pakistani patients. I'm perplexed by their discriminatory approach and want to understand the rationale behind such biased scheduling.

Terrible GP practice with awful customer service
This is absolutely the most appalling experience from start to finish, with the reception staff and GPS displaying an utterly disrespectful attitude towards patients. NHS England must launch a comprehensive investigation into their operations, and I can guarantee there will be numerous individuals eager to voice their grievances. I would gladly award them zero stars - this general practitioner clearly believes he is superior to specialized medical professionals.

Frustrating prescription process after 10 years
I've been with Dr Ghafoor's practice alongside my entire family for over a decade, but the quality has dramatically declined. The receptionists are incredibly unhelpful and seem disinterested in patient care. Their new online prescription system is frustrating, especially when trying to order medications not on the standard list. For instance, getting a blue inhaler for my asthma became an exhausting ordeal involving multiple complex questions and delays. After being told to follow up in two days, I called back only to learn the doctor hadn't even reviewed my request. Subsequent calls led to increasingly complicated interactions, with a hostile receptionist interrogating me about my medication usage, making me feel like I was doing something wrong. The entire process was time-consuming and demoralizing. I'm actively seeking a new medical practice that genuinely prioritizes patient care and demonstrates a commitment to helping people. The current approach is unacceptable, and I plan to transfer not just myself, but my entire family to a more compassionate healthcare provider.

Doctors are great, but receptionists need help
Dr Ghafoor and Dr Rana are absolutely outstanding, with no room for criticism. However, the receptionists have a habit of disrupting conversations and breaking in during consultations. I was forced to make multiple phone calls just to secure my medication, ultimately receiving only a portion of what I needed. I implore these receptionists to develop basic communication skills with patients. While nervousness might be understandable for newcomers, I'm simply requesting medication, not engaging in some bizarre sci-fi scenario.

Doctors went from great to terrible now
Dr. Ghafoor Dr. Abassi and the late Dr. Saeed were excellent professionals in their prime, but now the practice has deteriorated completely. The current junior doctors display a lackluster, retired-like approach to patient care.

Ignored Calls Led to Emergency Hospitalization
A truly abysmal medical practice that epitomizes the worst of healthcare in Britain. The staff behave with an unwarranted sense of superiority, completely forgetting their fundamental responsibility to care for patients. Despite numerous attempts by my wife to communicate, they remained utterly unresponsive, leading to her spending three critical days in the Emergency department, leaving questions about who was supporting the mother and newborn during this challenging time. Such healthcare professionals would only comprehend the gravity of their negligence if they personally experienced similar distressing circumstances with their own family members. May divine intervention provide them with the empathy they currently lack.

Nausheen's Terrible Attitude at Rochdale Surgery
Absolutely terrible medical practice in Rochdale! Dr. Nausheen was incredibly unprofessional during my consultation today. Her demeanor was shockingly arrogant and dismissive - I'm baffled how someone like her became a general practitioner! She completely shut down any attempt for me to describe my health concerns and carried herself as if she were superior to her patients. Her attitude was completely unacceptable. I sincerely hope she faces professional consequences. As for Dr. Ghafoor, he's equally problematic with his insincere, plastered-on smile, trying to appear approachable while clearly not caring. It's revolting! I cannot emphasize enough how strongly I advise against anyone seeking treatment at this surgery. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Dr. Rana Saved the Day at This Practice
I'm giving this a full 5-star rating solely because of the exceptional physicians, particularly Dr. Rana, who has become my go-to family doctor. He truly embodies medical professionalism and approaches his work with genuine dedication. However, the front desk personnel leave much to be desired. While I recognize they might encounter challenging patients, their consistently discourteous attitude towards everyone is baffling. Some reception staff members seem to have an inflated sense of importance, apparently forgetting they are merely administrative employees. If they could enhance their customer service approach, this would undoubtedly be an outstanding medical practice.

Rude Receptionists Ruined My Doctor Visit
Utterly repulsive front desk staff. They demonstrate zero professionalism or courtesy whatsoever. While the medical practitioners are courteous and considerate, the receptionists are completely unacceptable and should all be terminated from their positions.

Weeks of Waiting for Blood Test Results
I had my blood test approximately three weeks ago, and the nurse initially informed me that I should receive results within 5-6 days. However, after one week, I was told by the receptionist that the doctor would call me back, which never happened. When I followed up after two weeks, the receptionist again claimed the doctor hadn't reviewed my report and advised me to call back later. This has been an absolutely terrible experience, and I strongly recommend avoiding registering with this medical practice.

Hung Up on After Three Frustrating Calls
Rude receptionists/lacking respect. Today, I attempted to contact their office three times, and each interaction was met with dismissive excuses and a complete lack of apology for their misleading responses. During my third call, while I was mid-explanation of my concern, they abruptly terminated the call after merely 10 seconds. What I initially thought might have been an accidental disconnection was clearly intentional, as no follow-up call was made. This experience has completely eroded my trust in their reception staff. At this point, I'm considering bypassing the receptionists entirely and booking a direct appointment with the doctor to ensure my concerns are heard. Nye Bevan urgently needs to reevaluate their hiring practices for reception roles. The current staff demonstrate zero accountability for their unprofessional behavior, instead making callers feel invalidated and potentially questioning their own sanity. My recommendation? Go private. It's simply not worth registering with this practice unless they commit to implementing genuine respect within their staff interactions. The irony is palpable - they claim to have zero tolerance for disrespect towards staff, yet they consistently make patients feel marginalized and uncomfortable.

Impossible to See Dr Gafoor at All
Steer clear of this medical practice at all costs - scheduling an appointment is virtually impossible, rendering their GP services pointless. The staff provide zero assistance, and Dr. Gafoor is perpetually unavailable for consultations. There's constant miscommunication, with doctors and staff offering conflicting information. While I understand the NHS faces challenges, this particular clinic has consistently maintained the same subpar level of service with no signs of improvement.

BadAbsolute shower !
I have been a proud user of the nhs for over half a century This practice is without doubt the worst I have ever had the misfortune to be registered with There are clear & obvious reasons why this abysmal third rate practice was taken into caretaker management ! Top Tip : Make sure you have sufficient prescribed medication in order to switch to a competent & reputable practice should you need to do so - and if you value your sanity & health you will do so the first opportunity you get ! Anyone thinking of registering needs to read their last Clinical Commissioning Group Review and ask around before doing so. This is a rogue & toxic practice who's ignorant and barley trained *reception* staff are absolute shower with no customer relations skills , zero basic communication skills & less than zero manners . I'm intrigued to know what - if any ! - work experience or relevant educational qualifications any of them possess for the complex & responsible role assigned to them ? They must have been to medical school to give over the telephone diagnosis ? If any of my staff were so rude & ignorant of what a caller was saying they'd find themselves issues with a P45 before the end of their * first * weeks employment. Do you not have any proactive basic vetting or basic competency checks pre-employment there at all ! ? The *reception* staff as a collective are mostly rude & incompetent to the extent of being detrimental to patients health & make arbitrary decisions on patients prescriptions dosage & quantity with no medical training whatsoever. I have reported them direct to Clinical Commissioning Group , don't waste time with local toothless watchdogs go straight to the top with these clowns . Take my advice record & log every telephone conversation with the reception operatives for use in future legal action and find a competent solicitor. How no one has sued them through the courts and taken them to the cleaners yet astounds me ? There is only one *reception* staff who has an earthly clue what she is doing the rest are dangerously incompetent. Its only the apathy of local ( & toothless ! ) nhs watchdogs has allowed these *cowboys* to continue to practice at all. How they have not been shut down is totally beyond my comprehension they are not fit to run a bath ! Either the GP's at the practice are blissfully unaware of how badly their *Reception* is run on a daily basis or they simply don't care - either way they are entirely negligent in their duty of care to patients . As to basic prescription and medicine procurement how a patient at this practice has not come to any genuine harm through their staggering incompetence and laksidasikally inept approach with repeat prescriptions is nothing short of miraculous ! Eventually truth will out about this GP's surgery The great statesman Aneurin Bevan will be turning in his grave that such *cowboys* have been allocated floor space in a building named after him ! Utter shambles !

Awful Blood Test Experience with Unhelpful Staff
I was consistently left unseen by the physician during my visits, which were solely focused on blood testing without any comprehensive medical examination. Moreover, the personnel exhibited a discourteous demeanor, demonstrating a complete lack of attentiveness and customer service.

Prescription Nightmare with Unhelpful Gazalla
The staff at this place are consistently unhelpful and discourteous. When I called about a repeat prescription, they repeatedly interrupted me. I contacted their main line, and the representative claimed I couldn't receive voltrol pain relief, despite my long-standing history of getting this medication for my joint issues. When I requested to review my prescription details, she became aggressive, shouting and refusing to listen. The staff member, who identified herself as Gazalla, was completely uncooperative. These receptionists are perpetually rude, and I'm absolutely exhausted by their unprofessional behavior. They clearly don't understand how to perform their job responsibilities properly.

Frustrating morning at unresponsive medical practice
Once more, I'm utterly frustrated with the front desk staff at this medical practice. When I called precisely at 8am to schedule an appointment, I was left hanging for 25 minutes only to be dismissively told it wasn't urgent and to call back later in the morning. Following their instructions, I rang at 11:30am, only to be informed that no appointments are available for the next fortnight and that I must wait and call back after that time. This process is absolutely ridiculous! The reception team demonstrates zero competence and complete lack of compassion for patients' needs. AVOID THIS PRACTICE AT ALL COSTS! I STRONGLY ADVISE SEEKING PRIVATE MEDICAL CARE INSTEAD
