Feedback reveals significant challenges with appointment access and communication. Patients consistently report difficulty reaching the practice by phone, with unanswered calls and lengthy wait times during peak booking periods. The booking process itself is described as chaotic, requiring patients to engage in competitive phone calls at set times rather than using alternative scheduling methods. When appointments are eventually secured, availability is frequently exhausted. Despite these access barriers, reception staff receive praise for courtesy and friendliness.
Medical care experiences are mixed. While some patients report professional expertise and attentiveness from clinical staff, others describe rushed consultations and concerns about care quality and continuity. A small number of patients express satisfaction with the mobile application for managing routine tasks and commend staff kindness. However, broader patterns indicate frustration with responsiveness, communication consistency, and the overall booking experience, which many patients identify as a primary source of dissatisfaction with the practice.

Frustrating medical service with poor communication
The service was extremely poor when I needed a blood test for my young daughter. They provided a contact phone number that was completely unresponsive. I spent an entire day attempting to reach them, repeatedly visiting the reception desk where staff simply advised me to keep trying. After multiple visits, they eventually handed me a mobile number, which finally allowed me to schedule the blood test. When I inquired why I couldn't reach them earlier, the phone representative claimed they've only used mobile contact for five years. I was shocked that they had been providing a non-functional number for so long, which delayed my 7-week-old child's test by three weeks. Previously, I was offered an RSV vaccine around 9-10 weeks, and after consulting midwives and researching, I learned it should only be administered after 28 weeks - information I didn't challenge at the time. Since this concerns my child's health, I feel compelled to share my frustrating experience through this review.

Terrible healthcare that lacks basic human compassion
Steer clear of this medical practice at all costs. I had completed a series of comprehensive health screenings abroad and sought a follow-up consultation with my primary care physician. However, they flatly refused to see me and provided no rationale for their rejection. The overwhelming impression was one of complete indifference. It seemed their priority was to prescribe generic pain medication or passively observe my decline rather than genuinely investigate my medical concerns. The principles of medical ethics appear to be entirely absent from this establishment. I am resolute in my decision never to return, and I strongly advise others to do the same.

Terrible doctor and unhelpful staff at surgery
I joined this practice in 2018. Initially, Dr Bankart seemed very compassionate and genuinely interested in his patients. However, my experience over the past year has significantly changed my perception. He altered my medication in August, despite my repeated warnings that it was making me extremely unwell. I experienced blurred vision, intense headaches, and was only sleeping a couple of hours daily. Even with hospital recommendations, he stubbornly refused to modify the medication or address my insomnia. Communicating through the app (as direct contact is nearly impossible), I received a condescending and rude response. After multiple exchanges, he called, superficially appearing concerned while deflecting blame to other NHS departments and maintaining his stance on medication. Shockingly, he then asked if I believed in God and suggested praying together. My son and I were utterly bewildered. He persistently offered to pray for me, asking whether I preferred it over the phone or after hanging up. Weeks later, I had to contact 111. Despite being personally emailed, the surgery made no follow-up, and Dr Bankart never returned my call. I was left without medication for an entire weekend. Following family advice, I registered with another surgery. By Monday morning, I received a prescription and an appointment with the appropriate NHS team. There's one remarkable receptionist, an older lady who's been there for years. She's incredibly helpful, polite, and always tries her best. The others, including what seems to be Dr. Bankart's wife, appear indifferent and unhelpful. Their communication is inconsistent - requests made in the morning are mysteriously forgotten by afternoon. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this surgery. I'm particularly concerned for vulnerable patients, especially the elderly and those with mental health challenges.

Great!
Compassionate healthcare despite challenging systemic constraints
I've experienced exceptional kindness and attentiveness from all staff members at this medical practice. The mobile application is fantastic, enabling me to schedule routine consultations, order medication refills, and access my diagnostic reports with ease. Despite facing challenges common to many healthcare providers—such as insufficient government funding, unrealistic performance expectations, and likely staff burnout—I remain thoroughly satisfied with the practice.

Dangerous doctors ignore patient's health and concerns
Pleasant initial impression...but hazardous medical professionals..... A physician claiming no natural solutions exist for inflammation.....is clearly a COMPLETE MORON! By the way, I'm referring to Dr. Alemi, who appears more concerned with his professional reputation than genuinely helping patients...... This medical facility seems populated with doctors who, based on my experience, demonstrate profound medical incompetence...in fact, each visit suggests their treatment consistently worsens my condition.... It strikes me as fundamentally logical that a doctor prescribing treatment without proper diagnostic investigation is inherently dangerous...... Recently returned after falling on my hand... no medical staff even considered X-raying it despite my explicit request, especially given my profession as a musician where such examination seems like basic common sense... now my finger and wrist are permanently damaged... returned again only to be ignored and subjected to a phone consultation where an incompetent staff member misdiagnosed me.... then compounded the error by admitting their previous misdiagnosis... the level of professional negligence is absolutely astounding... truly, these individuals should be prohibited from patient contact... they're transparently unqualified and seem to randomly generate diagnoses for personal convenience, rather than conducting thorough, responsible patient examinations...

Terrible doctor endangers patient's life with negligence
I am utterly appalled by Dr Rupert Bankart's unprofessional and potentially dangerous approach to patient care. Despite never having personally met him, he has unilaterally discontinued my critical medication based on a single test from 2017 - six years ago - which was conducted following a life-threatening hospital stay directly related to my condition. He has brazenly disregarded and undermined the professional medical opinions of specialists from both Peterborough and Cambridge hospitals, including a comprehensive team dedicated to my severe Eosinophilic Asthma who have been meticulously working to understand my specific subtype for years. This action is not just inappropriate; it's a complete insult to my medical history and ongoing treatment. Anyone with medical knowledge understands that Eosinophilic asthma can present atypically, particularly when patients are on steroid treatments. I am left wondering what personal vendetta Dr Bankart has against me. Is he intentionally trying to jeopardize my health? My specialist medical team will be addressing this matter directly with him and the relevant hospital departments. He should prepare himself for a thorough and rigorous professional review.

Terrible medical service at grange health centre
Absolutely terrible service! I've been attempting to call for three consecutive days, with constant busy signals between 8:58 and 9:30. When I finally managed to reach someone, they directed me to a walking centre despite my need for medical attention. It's completely unacceptable and embarrassing for the Grange Medical Centre.

Poor!
Frustrating booking system ruins healthcare experience
The key issue lies in the booking process, which differs from other medical procedures. Rather than utilizing a convenient app-based scheduling system, patients are forced to engage in a chaotic phone rush at 9 AM just to secure an appointment slot.

Frustrating wait for medical appointment scheduling
Been trying to reach them since 8:57 this morning, but my call kept getting redirected until 8:30. I was second in line and was informed that all appointments for the day were fully booked, so I was advised to try again tomorrow. It's frustrating being the first to call and the last to get through, but I must say the medical staff are courteous, competent, and welcoming.

Incompetent care delays crucial medical diagnosis
I'm at my wit's end. Their communication is abysmal, with phone calls going unanswered and scheduling appointments becoming an impossible task. My knee injury was completely mishandled from the start, with the initial doctor dismissing it as mere swelling. It wasn't until the physiotherapist and subsequent specialist both confirmed I urgently needed an MRI that the severity became clear. The entire process has dragged on for over seven months, and I still haven't received the critical scan. The lack of professional care and attentiveness is infuriating - if the doctor had simply shown a basic level of concern, this entire ordeal could have been prevented. I'm completely fed up with this medical practice and am absolutely certain I will be changing providers. The level of incompetence is absolutely unacceptable.
