Patient Experience Summary

Patient feedback reflects a mixed experience across the practice. Medical professionals are frequently praised for their professional competence, attentive listening, and compassionate approach to care. However, reception experience emerges as a significant concern, with multiple patients reporting discourteous behaviour, lack of responsiveness, and unprofessional conduct at the front desk. This inconsistency is particularly notable given that clinical care quality is consistently rated highly.

Appointment availability and booking efficiency present ongoing challenges. Patients report difficulties securing timely appointments, with some experiencing waits of a week or longer for urgent needs. The booking system has been criticised for inefficiency, and communication about appointment status and waiting times appears inconsistent. Long waiting times during appointments are also mentioned, though some patients report improved access to same-day appointments in recent visits.

Care coordination and responsiveness to patient concerns show variable performance. While some patients describe supportive and engaged consultations, others report feeling dismissed or unheard, with concerns about inadequate investigation of symptoms and limited follow-up. The practice appears to benefit from recent staffing changes that have improved some service aspects, though reception staff training and consistency remain areas requiring attention.

Terrible service and unprofessional medical staff attitude

The personnel at this facility, from the front desk to the medical staff, are absolutely terrible. That female physician, in particular, desperately needs to adjust her condescending demeanor. When you enter the healthcare profession, it means you should understand the importance of compassion and connecting with patients, not acting like you're infallible or that patients have no voice. The same criticism applies to the receptionists - they're hired to provide a service, not to act like they own the place. Their attitude suggests they've forgotten they're paid to help, not to look down on people.

Excellent!

Exceptional doctor and staff through decades of care

Dr. R K Bhatt has been my primary care physician for close to four decades. Throughout this time, he has consistently demonstrated compassion, attentiveness, and provided excellent medical care for both myself and my family. As the local population has grown, the medical practice has likewise expanded to meet rising healthcare needs. The reception staff frequently encounter difficult patients who make unreasonable requests and become aggressive when their demands aren't immediately met. Despite these challenging interactions, they perform admirably and maintain a professional demeanor. I believe they deserve high praise, and I am genuinely grateful for the exceptional service they provide.

Frustrating prescription error at sugery practice

I stopped by the medical practice to renew my ongoing prescription, which I've been receiving for quite some time. As instructed, I wrote down the details and submitted them to the receptionist, clearly specifying my usual request for two medications to be prescribed for a three-month period. When my wife picked up the prescription from the pharmacy and opened it the following morning, I discovered it was only issued for a single month. Upon calling the surgery, I was informed they could not assist me. I explained that given the current economic challenges and widespread financial strain from inflation, I cannot afford to pay for a monthly prescription when I typically receive a three-month supply, and this situation arose due to the practice's oversight. Instead of acknowledging the error made by the surgery, I was essentially told that I should have verified and confirmed the details with the pharmacy before purchasing the medication.

Previously my medical practice before relocating. I wholeheartedly endorse this clinic, which is conveniently situated near my pharmacy. Dr Bhatt and particularly Dr Rabie are outstanding professionals, and the front desk team is equally impressive.

Terrible service and endless waiting for simple task

Completely useless scheduling! I submitted a document to the front desk on Monday, requiring a response by Friday, but they failed to pass it to the physician until yesterday. Now I'm being informed I must wait an additional fortnight for the letter. Utterly ridiculous!

Amazing healthcare with compassionate and caring staff

The staff and physicians at this practice are remarkably compassionate, approachable, competent, understanding, and supportive. Although this isn't my personal medical practice but my mother's, I frequently interact with them while managing her healthcare needs, and WITHOUT EXCEPTION, every single interaction—whether via telephone, electronic correspondence, or in-person—has been absolutely delightful. If not for my existing loyalty to my current GP, I would have absolutely switched to this practice! 😊

Worst medical practice in northolt ever

This critique is exclusively targeting the grove medical practice in northolt, and it may very well represent the most subpar healthcare facility in London. Let's start with the utterly incompetent reception staff who seemingly arrive at work solely to dunk biscuits in tea, engage in idle chatter, and contribute absolutely nothing productive. The concept of diligence appears completely foreign to them. Even more frustrating is their scant availability of appointments, and when slots do emerge, they summon what can only be described as the most ineffective physicians in the UK, who provide minimal to zero assistance in addressing patient concerns. Their medical competence is so questionable that one cannot help but wonder about their professional registration status. As a result, we are definitively changing our general practitioner, and I advise against them even attempting to look up my details in their system as a means of self-defense. The practice manager desperately needs a surge of energy to recognize and confront the organizational shambles they are presiding over.

Worst expert ever on neurodiversity and trauma

The individual managing this establishment is completely clueless about his supposed area of expertise. Despite claiming lifelong research into EDS and ADHD, he demonstrates zero comprehension of these conditions. His understanding is fundamentally flawed: he fails to grasp inflammation, misses how allergies activate fight/flight responses, and seems oblivious to the potential harm caused by persistent exposure to toxic fragrances that trigger physiological trauma. Moreover, he recklessly includes images of notorious domestic abusers in his presentation, which reveals a profound lack of sensitivity and understanding of trauma dynamics. His inclusion of an abuser's photo serves no constructive purpose and betrays a shocking disregard for survivors' experiences. It's painfully clear that he has no genuine empathy or meaningful insight into the challenges faced by those who have endured abuse.

Terrible service and unhelpful medical care

There are absolutely no in-person consultations available under any circumstances. The physician promises a telephone consultation after a week's delay. They insist on monthly prescription renewals instead of a three-month supply and strongly push patients toward a specific pharmacy. The medical staff seems identical across locations, and we're increasingly puzzled about their actual working hours. We are seriously considering transferring all our primary care services elsewhere.
