Unprofessional and dismissive customer service nightmare

I contacted the office to cancel an appointment I had just scheduled moments earlier. The staff member's response was, "You're cancelling now?" I was taken aback by her dismissive attitude! When I explained the appointment was made just that morning, she curtly replied, "Fine, I'll cancel and try to give the slot to someone else." Her lack of empathy was striking. She showed no understanding of potential patient circumstances and seemed unappreciative that I had the courtesy to cancel directly rather than simply not showing up. Absolutely unprofessional! The staff clearly require communication training and need to learn how to interact with patients respectfully. People don't seek medical appointments for entertainment; they have genuine needs and challenges. I did verbally report the incident, but I'm submitting a written complaint to ensure it receives proper attention and isn't overlooked.

I recently experienced exceptional, empathetic, and highly professional care from the Hall Practice for two medical issues: a sudden bout of flu with Labyrinthitis and breast cancer concerns. Initially managing the flu, I was suddenly struck by complete loss of balance and debilitating vertigo, causing severe nausea with any movement and an inability to keep even small amounts of water down. Upon calling the surgery, they responded with immediate action. The on-duty GP promptly sent a prescription to my pharmacy, which my husband collected so I could begin treatment immediately. While I initially improved, I subsequently deteriorated, suspecting a bacterial infection. This time, a paramedic was dispatched to my home. He was incredibly compassionate, thoroughly examined me, provided valuable advice that significantly helped my recovery. Before contracting the flu, I had completed an online form requesting an appointment after discovering a breast lump on a Sunday evening. Remarkably, the surgery contacted me at 9:10 am Monday morning, offering a same-day appointment. I was swiftly referred to Wycombe Hospital Breast Clinic. The referring GP went above and beyond, sending a supportive text before my first clinic appointment and following up with a phone call afterward to check on my well-being. This represents an outstanding service and demonstrates extraordinary care from an incredibly compassionate medical professional. The Hall Practice is truly unparalleled, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Absolutely dreadful! My aging mother underwent a significant surgical procedure and required assistance as a temporary guest at my home during her recovery. This medical facility has been the most incompetent and unaccommodating I've ever encountered! They even proposed that I transport my frail mother over sixty minutes by car to receive her cancer treatment injection! Every interaction with the K Hall practice has been a nightmare from the start. Truly the absolute worst! Steer clear of them unless you're eager to be treated like an inconvenience!!!!

A private enterprise runs the shared lot between two medical practices, with an overly complex process that demands precise parking in specific spots and mandatory check-in via a machine. Attempting to navigate this bureaucratic nightmare while dealing with a sick child is practically impossible, and any minor mistake results in an immediate penalty. When challenging the fine, there's zero substantive assistance or understanding. The entire experience is so frustrating that it's compelling me to switch healthcare providers entirely.
