Reception staff helpful despite challenging circumstances

It seems that things are improving greatly here. Having recently spoken to and had a face to face appointment with a clinician and numerous consultations with another healthcare professional, I feel at last we are moving forward and they are helping me greatly to address a long-standing health concern. I also appreciate the reception staff who are doing their best under difficult circumstances.

Reception didn't process the referral properly

I posted a review ten days ago expressing satisfaction with a telephone consultation with a physiotherapy team member, however it appears I was premature in my praise. Following a face-to-face conversation with reception staff today, I discovered that the referral had not been processed. Additionally, I was informed that it is not possible to communicate directly with the referral team, as they operate from a separate facility that is not affiliated with this practice.

Online booking worked well despite the wait

Submitted an online consultation request. Received a call approximately a week afterwards (which influenced the 4-star rating) and a face-to-face appointment was arranged. The face-to-face appointment ran slightly behind schedule, resulting in a 15-minute wait in the waiting area. The appointment itself was very satisfactory: the examination was thorough, the issue was explained clearly through verbal discussion and visual demonstration on screen. I feel positive about the next steps following the referral to relevant specialist services.

Finally got a proper face-to-face appointment

For the first time in years, today I was fortunate enough to have a full face to face appointment at the health centre this afternoon. This lasted more than 30 minutes. I was seen by a clinician who was kind and made me feel comfortable, and who listened to all my concerns. They took their time and were thorough. I am overall really pleased with my experience at the practice today.
