Better service and caring doctor at new gp

This GP practice is a significant improvement from my previous clinic. At the old location, the reception would leave me hanging on the phone for 40 minutes, barely acknowledging me before abruptly cutting off the call, and this wasn't even during peak hours. Here in the hill, they're much more efficient and responsive, though there can be a slight delay around 8am. I've experienced some difficulty booking appointments, but that's fairly standard. Compared to my former clinic, where securing a slot could take weeks, this is manageable. Dr. Shioab is particularly excellent - a standout healthcare professional. I'm rating them 4 stars primarily because they lack water facilities, which would have made the experience perfect.

The medical team, particularly Dr. Shaber and Dr. Gurpreet, are simply outstanding. The reception staff, especially Shana, are incredibly friendly and compassionate. Their prescription service is also top-notch. I would confidently rate their overall service as a perfect 10/10.

Their staff seem to be completely incompetent, as I spent almost half an hour trying to reach someone, only to have the receptionist put me on mute and then abruptly hang up, making me suspect they're recruiting employees who are barely out of elementary school.

Recently relocated from Oakwood, I had my initial consultation today, and there's a noticeable improvement. While the process can still be somewhat lengthy, the telephone staff are absolutely exceptional. I mentioned my eczema struggles, and the receptionist promptly referred me to Dr. Armstrong, a dermatology specialist. I'm confident they've identified the most suitable cream for eczema sufferers. For patients dealing with this condition, I'd rate the experience as a solid 12/10.

Switched from my previous medical practice in Hall Green to this new one, and I find it's a significant improvement. Getting through on the phone can be a bit of a wait, but once connected, the process is incredibly swift and straightforward. The staff are remarkably efficient and responsive. The doctor I saw was genuinely kind and appeared to truly care about my well-being. I must commend them on maintaining exceptionally clean restroom facilities. My only suggestion would be to consider installing a Lota in the bathroom.

The sole suggestion I have is for them to adopt the NHS online booking system instead of requiring phone calls in the morning, as many individuals are working and unable to make calls during those hours. Diagnosed with a severe chest infection, I received a prescription for antibiotics and picked them up the following day.
