I attempted to contact the practice multiple times throughout the week regarding a required document. The timeframe I was given for completion was inconsistent, with different estimates provided, which I found frustrating. During interactions, I felt that communication was dismissive and that I was not being listened to properly. When I enquired about appointment availability, I was told there were none available and that I would be contacted, though this did not happen as promised. The staff appeared to be occupied with computer work and other tasks rather than attending to patient needs. Additionally, I felt uncomfortable with the nature of some questions asked during my visit, as I questioned whether they were appropriate or necessary. Overall, I would suggest looking into other options before choosing this practice.

I was not satisfied with the service provided. A repeat medication request appeared not to have reached the pharmacy when I attempted to collect it, and no explanation was given for this issue. Additionally, I found it extremely difficult to book an appointment with a clinician at a time that suited my needs.

Repeated calls went unanswered and ignored

I have had a frustrating experience with this practice. After being unwell for an extended period with a fever, I attempted to contact the surgery multiple times but was repeatedly told I would be added to a waiting list for a callback that never came. I found it difficult to obtain the prescription I needed without being able to speak to a clinician. I felt that the practice was not responsive to my needs during this time.

Outstanding practice, undoubtedly among the finest in the area. I find the clinical team to be genuinely compassionate and thoughtful, and one particular clinician has provided exceptional care to my family over time. The entire team demonstrates a high standard of professionalism, and while some patients may object to being asked about the reason for their visit, this is a necessary part of their role. Given that this is an NHS service, I believe some of the critical feedback here fails to acknowledge the considerable demands placed on the practice, the size of their patient list, and the constraints they operate under. Yes, booking an appointment requires calling early in the morning, and occasionally the lines are congested requiring a second attempt, BUT I consistently receive same-day appointments and receive sound medical guidance.

This practice has not met my expectations. I was given guidance over the telephone when I felt I needed an in-person consultation with a clinician. I believe that telephone advice alone is insufficient, as it prevents a proper assessment of my symptoms and concerns, which I feel requires a face-to-face examination.
