I've been a patient at this medical practice since they relocated from Coventry Road to Cooksey Road, and I've been seeing the same family of doctors my entire life. The doctors themselves are excellent, and thankfully, I rarely need to see them due to good health. However, the receptionists have consistently been rude and impatient, particularly the younger staff members. They urgently need to improve their attitudes, as this has been a long-standing issue that I cannot comprehend. Despite this, the surgery is spotlessly clean, and the wait times are impressively short. Booking appointments is also relatively straightforward if you call early in the morning. One caveat: securing a nurse appointment for wound care and bandage management is challenging, so be prepared. Contrary to some opinions, this surgery isn't as problematic as people claim. Remember, visiting the doctor is about receiving treatment, not socializing - the medical staff aren't your friends. That said, I do acknowledge that patients would appreciate a bit more warmth and enthusiasm from the staff, which seems like a reasonable expectation.

Worst medical centre ever avoid at all costs
If I could assign a negative rating, I would. My experience at Limes Medical Centre over four years (2020-2024) was undoubtedly the most abysmal healthcare encounter in my 31-year lifetime. Where to begin? The administrative team was disorganized, the general practitioners displayed a complete lack of ethical and emotional sensitivity, and the Practice Manager demonstrated zero understanding of customer service or basic business principles. The entire practice is an absolute embarrassment. They falsely claimed to have referred me for adult autism services, and utterly failed to provide any meaningful support for my deteriorating mental health, which ultimately led to my job resignation. Their negligence was appalling. Fortunately, I eventually transferred to Swan Medical Centre, who are truly exceptional. My strongest advice: AVOID THIS PRACTICE AT ALL COSTS.

My experience here has been truly remarkable, especially in terms of understanding primary care. The quality of care I observed here is outstanding. Every staff member, from doctors and nurses to phlebotomists and receptionists, demonstrates a genuine passion for patient care.
