Terrible service made my anxiety skyrocket

Utterly worthless customer support. Falsely claimed I was being loud when I've been struggling with their app and documentation since 2012. I strongly advise seeking medical care elsewhere as this practice is terrible. I almost forgot to mention the receptionist who magnificently escalated my panic and anxiety to new heights - thanks for making everything so much worse, exactly what I didn't need right now.

At the front desk, there's a receptionist who seems to be a middle-aged woman, and her personal issues appear to be affecting her professional demeanor in this GP setting. Her approach can be characterized as: Overly aggressive — communicating in a dismissive tone that lacks genuine helpfulness. Inflexible — showing no willingness to adapt or consider alternative perspectives, even on trivial matters. Arrogant — behaving as though her position grants her the right to disregard others' input or concerns. Patronizing — adopting a superior attitude that implies patients should inherently understand procedures without guidance. My impression is that if the roles were reversed, she would likely escalate minor inconveniences into significant conflicts, rather than addressing them with patience and understanding.

Diabetic nurse saves the day with expert care

I live with diabetes, and recently a new diabetes nurse joined my care team, and she's been incredibly refreshing. Laura has successfully helped me manage my blood glucose levels, resulting in a significant reduction in my insulin requirements. I truly wish she had been available when I was initially diagnosed many years back.

We encountered a deeply unsatisfactory interaction with the mental health professional at this practice. Our consultation with nurse Kate was entirely lacking in empathy, and her approach was harsh and dismissive. Instead of providing support, she actually exacerbated my partner's emotional distress. As a direct result of this negative experience, we have decided to transfer our medical care to a different surgery.

Menopause support lacking at this frustrating surgery

I've repeatedly attempted E consult, only to be told to contact the surgery. I desperately need a menopause nurse. I met her once, and she was incredibly helpful. Now, 3 months after stopping my patches, I can't secure an appointment for the life of me. I even spoke with another GP by phone who promised to make a referral but hasn't followed through. Once again, I've called and been left without an appointment. This menopause experience is becoming unbearable, and I feel like I'm back at the beginning with zero support. I'm completely defeated and no longer have the energy to deal with this surgery. Three months of constant effort, and I'm at my wit's end.

Terrible service and miscommunication at every step

The front desk personnel completely disregard patient input and schedule appointments at their own discretion. An utter exercise in futility. When you finally get to see the clinician, you're forced to rehash your entire medical history because they haven't taken the time to review previous visit documentation and are completely oblivious to your ongoing situation. Their standard response is a dismissive "we can only apologise". Absolute nonsense.
