Feedback on this practice reveals a deeply polarised patient experience, with significant concerns about appointment access and reception experience dominating the negative themes. Many patients report persistent difficulties securing consultations, with phone lines frequently unavailable and online booking systems offering no available slots. Long waiting times, both on hold and for appointments, feature prominently across reviews. Communication challenges are widespread, including unresponsive management, missed follow-up calls, and poor phone manner from reception staff. Document mismanagement has caused considerable frustration, with patients reporting lost paperwork and prescription delays. Medication access has emerged as a critical issue, with some patients experiencing dangerous delays in obtaining essential prescriptions.
However, a notable minority of patients report positive experiences, particularly with online booking efficiency, professional care delivery, and compassionate nursing support. These patients highlight responsive communication, courteous reception staff, and timely test results. Some praise specific team members for their professionalism and kindness during consultations and vaccinations. The practice's e-consultation service receives mixed feedback, with some finding it seamless whilst others report it offers no actual appointment availability. This stark contrast suggests service quality may be inconsistent or dependent on which staff members patients encounter, though systemic issues around appointment availability and staffing levels appear to underpin many of the negative experiences reported across the file.

Poor!
Worst customer service ever at this medical clinic
Spent nearly an hour waiting on hold, ultimately giving up in frustration. Their scheduling system is completely overwhelmed, with zero available doctor appointments anywhere.

Excellent!
Efficient healthcare with quick and caring service
Scheduled a phone consultation, described my health concerns, and was promptly offered an in-person visit. Multiple diagnostic tests were performed, and the results were swiftly addressed. Efficient, straightforward service without unnecessary complications (and just to be clear, I have no personal connections to the staff).

Bad!
Overwhelmed practice failing patients with substandard care
The Limes medical practice has an excessive patient load of 17,500 spread across just 2.5 general practitioners. Typically, a GP should handle between 1500-2000 patients, but this surgery far exceeds those recommended limits. Expectant mothers are being denied basic prenatal care, with staff directing them to call 111 for essential services like morning sickness medication and seasonal immunizations. This practice is fundamentally failing its community and should be shut down. Their continued operation while providing substandard healthcare is completely unacceptable. It is imperative that NHS England intervene and address these critical service deficiencies.

Bad!
Terrible healthcare that leaves patients completely abandoned
A strong contender for the most subpar medical practice nationwide. While local healthcare providers aren't stellar, this particular clinic is categorically one to avoid. Their patient care is utterly absent, and obtaining any medical guidance or support is virtually impossible. I'm genuinely uncertain whether there's even a functioning staff present at this location.

Great!
Good service through challenging nhs times
After relocating from Tottenham in London, I've discovered this GP practice maintains a standard comparable to our previous one, which consistently earned top-tier Google reviews. Admittedly, the experience can be somewhat variable, and securing a telephone appointment requires patience during peak times. However, the receptionists remain helpful despite appearing somewhat overwhelmed, and I've invariably managed to connect eventually. Same-day appointments are challenging unless you dial precisely at 8am, though this seems fairly standard given the current pressures on the NHS. Fortunately, the 111 service offers triage options, which proved invaluable when dealing with my newborn's medical needs. The actual medical treatment has been consistently solid - a standout example being their swift response to a suspicious mole during my pregnancy, expediting my appointment for removal even faster than my concurrent private dermatology consultation. Additionally, my flu vaccination was administered with notable professionalism and kindness, which was particularly appreciated given my needle anxiety. I also successfully obtained an antibiotic cream prescription for my baby, albeit after a two-day communication process during the intense pre-Christmas flu season. Overall, I'm satisfied with the care provided and would comfortably recommend this practice to others.

Bad!
Frustrating phone wait with no customer service
Called the office past 2 in the afternoon seeking medical results...found myself second in line, yet after a solid 10 minutes, no progress and zero information about my queue status...attempted to reconnect later but encountered identical frustration and ultimately abandoned the effort.

Frustrating healthcare experience with impossible appointments
I've been a patient at this medical practice for several years now, and the service has been far from satisfactory. Whether it's due to COVID-19 or a shortage of physicians, securing an appointment has become nearly impossible, even when I'm diligent about calling first thing in the morning. On the rare occasion I manage to schedule a "call back," the call invariably fails to connect with my phone. Strangely, this communication issue is unique to this medical practice and doesn't occur with any other service. I've attempted to address these problems, but their response is consistently unhelpful and dismissive. As a result, I'm forced to either go without medical attention or unnecessarily burden the A&E department just to see a healthcare professional. The days of easily booking same-day appointments with a real doctor seem to be long gone, and I'm only 29, so this decline is relatively recent. It appears that healthcare professionals have simply lost their commitment to patient care and are no longer willing to provide the level of service patients deserve.

Worst healthcare experience ever in margate
I suspect the rare and oddly defensive 5-star reviews are likely written by staff relatives, because this is genuinely the most abysmal healthcare experience I've ever encountered. The receptionists are arrogant and inefficient, and the GPs are equally rude, incompetent, and ignorant. They force patients to visit for emergency prescription requests, insisting on archaic paper-based processes in 2022. They managed to lose my paperwork and accidentally permanently delete my partner's medical records. The doctors have even shouted at and hung up on my partner after subjecting her to numerous unnecessary tests. Most shockingly, they mistakenly shared another patient's test results with her, proving they cannot be trusted to protect private medical information. We escalated our complaint to our local MP, who requested they respond - but they never did. They clearly view themselves as completely unaccountable. And the most frustrating part is that they actually are untouchable, with no improvements made. If you have any alternative NHS healthcare options in Margate, I strongly urge you to use them, as the Limes will only compound your medical challenges. To those patronizing reviewers who preach about treating others with respect, I'd be fascinated to hear their advice for handling situations where politeness is met with pure contempt, negligence, incompetence, condescension, and outright disdain.

Worst medical care ever frustrating and impossible
Absolutely terrible medical practice. I can never manage to schedule an appointment with a doctor due to constantly engaged phone lines, and even if I somehow get through at 8am, all the slots are already booked. It's completely ridiculous.

Disappointing nurse encounter at well women clinic
Hello there. I recently attempted to attend a routine health check with a Nurse—whose name I'll keep confidential. My experience was far from satisfactory. The communication was subpar, and her listening abilities were severely lacking. I was unfairly labeled as being defensive. She didn't bother to inquire about the actual purpose of my visit. When I tried to explain why I had scheduled the appointment, she repeatedly cited NICE guidelines. As a result, I've now arranged a consultation with my General Practitioner. This morning was a complete disappointment, and I'm thoroughly unimpressed.

Terrible receptionist ruined our entire medical experience
The receptionist's demeanor was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. Her hostile approach while simply verifying our flu vaccination appointment and requesting my husband's physician contact information was completely unacceptable. The overall customer service was utterly deplorable.

Smooth and speedy flu jab experience
My spouse and I received our influenza vaccination yesterday after scheduling it via the internet. The medical center's logistical setup was exceptional! We were both promptly attended to by friendly personnel, and the immunizations were administered quickly and smoothly. The staff appeared numerous and were operating with remarkable coordination and professionalism.

Worst medical practice ever terrible service
If a zero-star rating were possible, I'd choose it. Securing an appointment here is utterly futile. Four months after joining, and despite persistent attempts, I've been completely unsuccessful in scheduling a visit. What sort of medical practice restricts booking to just once monthly?? And additionally fails to accommodate urgent medical needs? A weekly scheduling window would be far more sensible. How can patients possibly predict when they'll develop a health concern or mental health challenge? The front desk staff exude an attitude of unwarranted self-importance. I'm genuinely perplexed about the purpose of their continued operation.

Terrible service and incompetent medical staff nightmare
This place deserves absolutely no stars! Hands down the most incompetent medical practice I've ever encountered. They should either completely close up shop or urgently recruit some competent medical professionals. The leadership and shareholders ought to be embarrassed by this abysmal level of care.
