Terrible customer service and frustrating phone experience

During off-peak hours, you'll encounter a queue lasting over 30 minutes just to reach reception, and during busy periods, it's even worse. Once you finally connect with someone, they're incredibly discourteous - I'm baffled how such unprofessional staff are employed. My in-person visits to the GP have always been pleasant with helpful staff, but their phone service is abysmal. Whether the matter is urgent or routine, I cannot recommend them due to communication difficulties. Their mobile application is completely ineffective; to accomplish anything, you're forced to send messages or make notes. What's the point of having an app with such limited functionality? They might as well rely on email communication. The entire experience is frustrating and demonstrates a complete lack of customer service understanding.

I'm thoroughly disappointed with this general practitioner's practice. In my view, they show zero concern for patient well-being. After enduring a three-month wait for an appointment, I arrived early and stood in line, only to be informed that my appointment was inexplicably cancelled simply because I waited in the queue. Their communication is abysmal - they never return calls, and their customer service team is completely ineffective. I'm desperately hoping to find a more competent healthcare provider as soon as possible.

The Evolutio Ophthalmology Clinic provides an abysmal patient experience. Phone inquiries and appointment scheduling drag on for more than 60 minutes. These folks don't merit a single star rating. Despite claiming to schedule appointments via phone or their Dr. IQ app, they consistently fail to actually book anything when you call. The Dr. IQ system is completely non-functional, and when patients are clearly suffering, they dismissively claim nothing is wrong and that x-rays show everything is normal. I have absolutely zero respect for this medical practice.

If I could rate their services at zero, I absolutely would. Countless errors and mishaps have plagued my experience since registering. The most egregious incident involved being told after four weeks that my baby needed a hepatitis B vaccine because I had it during pregnancy, despite having clear test results throughout. When I approached the reception, the staff member repeatedly insisted I should wait until the appointment day or simply cancel, displaying an unacceptable level of indifference. Eventually, I managed to get a vaccination appointment letter and receive an NHS number - what a relief after such a massive blunder. Time wasting is another chronic issue, with inconsistent information provided over the phone versus at the reception. They even called me for a flu vaccination two months after delivery, and when I pointed this out, their only response was an insincere apology. The manager's arrogance is remarkable; when I attempted to discuss the issue through staff members, they couldn't be bothered to engage. Their approach seems to be deliberately avoiding booking appointments by making endless excuses, regardless of how long one waits on hold. These are just a few of the many frustrations I've encountered.

Absolutely dreadful. Their new digital platform is completely useless and provides zero value. Stuck on hold for over half an hour, trapped at position 27 in the queue. They have the nerve to seek out new patients when they're already incapable of managing their current load. I'm dealing with multiple health issues, expectorating mucus, and struggling with a compromised immune system, yet receiving zero assistance. A truly deplorable situation.

Rude doctor ruins medical experience completely

Against my typical approach, I was directed to this medical practice due to my GP's current workload and referral callbacks. During a phone consultation, I encountered an incredibly unprofessional doctor who became agitated and berated me, claiming that our conversation was exacerbating his already difficult day, simply because I challenged what was clearly an incorrect diagnosis. He adamantly refused to process my referral - which, had he reviewed my medical records, he would have seen was overdue - and instead declared he wasn't responsible for booking referrals, suggesting I needed to consult another physician. At that point, I terminated the conversation, as I had never before experienced such shocking unprofessionalism from a medical professional. I subsequently contacted my regular practice, whose staff were deeply apologetic about my experience and immediately scheduled an appointment with my GP to prevent any further interactions with this problematic doctor. I am now exploring formal channels to report the physician responsible for this unacceptable communication.

Unprofessional and unhygienic doctor fails basic care

I attended a routine mum and baby checkup at 8 weeks, including vaccinations. Initially, the GP seemed completely unaware of the purpose of our visit, repeatedly questioning why I was there. To my dismay, he examined my 2-month-old without wearing gloves. What shocked me most was when he warmed his stethoscope by rubbing it on his thigh before placing it directly on my baby's chest - an absolutely unacceptable and unhygienic procedure for a supposedly professional medical practitioner. The vaccination nurse was equally careless, also not wearing gloves while handling unvaccinated infants. I'm utterly bewildered by their casual approach to infant care. This first visit has left me thoroughly disappointed with their unprofessional and potentially risky medical practices.
