Patient Experience Summary

Patient feedback reveals a significantly divided experience at this practice, with marked inconsistency across service areas. Medical staff, particularly doctors, receive consistent praise for attentive listening, thorough consultations, and comprehensive care approaches. However, reception and booking services present substantial challenges that dominate negative feedback. Patients report persistent difficulties with appointment access, including restrictive calling windows, extended hold times, and unresponsive phone systems that disconnect or ring endlessly. Registration processes have created frustration, with patients describing confusing procedures and repeated document requests despite prior submission.

Reception experience emerges as the primary concern, with multiple reports of unhelpful, dismissive, and discourteous staff behaviour during phone interactions. Some patients describe feeling unwelcome when attempting to book appointments or seek basic assistance. Communication breakdowns have worsened since operational changes, with email inquiries going unanswered and no interactive phone menu available. Conversely, positive reviews highlight courteous reception staff, supportive interactions, and efficient service when patients do connect with the practice.

Waiting times for non-urgent consultations are acknowledged as lengthy but accepted by some patients as a trade-off for comprehensive care quality. The practice demonstrates capability in urgent same-day appointments and maintains a welcoming environment for diverse patient groups. Overall, the service quality appears heavily dependent on which staff member patients encounter and which service pathway they navigate, creating an unpredictable experience despite strong clinical care.

Rude Doctor Made My Surgery Terrible

Extremely poor surgical experience. Steer clear if possible. The physician displays a terrible demeanor and fails to show basic patient courtesy. Even obtaining a straightforward medical document becomes an arduous ordeal. Completely unacceptable professional conduct....

Excellent!

Dr Johal's thoughtful care worth the wait

Without a doubt, this is the most exceptional general practice I've encountered. The physicians here excel at active listening and thoroughly discuss potential treatment approaches before prescribing medication. On one occasion, a doctor declined my prescription request, but meticulously explained the rationale, and I ultimately recognized the wisdom of his professional judgment. Unlike other medical practices where doctors often provide minimal explanation, this approach was refreshingly transparent. The staff consistently offer multiple treatment pathways and articulate the scientific research and clinical guidelines supporting their recommendations. Dr Johal, in particular, stood out for her exceptional compassion and dedicated attention. The inherent trade-off of such personalized care is that every patient receives equally comprehensive consultation, which naturally extends waiting times. I was personally content to wait an hour beyond my scheduled appointment time for such superior service, though I acknowledge that individuals with time-constrained schedules might find this delay frustrating - especially given their strict policy of cancelling appointments for tardiness exceeding ten minutes. Despite this minor inconvenience, I wholeheartedly endorse this medical practice.

Quick and friendly doctor visit

The male doctor at this practice is excellent. The front desk team is incredibly supportive and friendly. While non-urgent consultations have some waiting time, this appears to be a standard issue across local medical practices.

Confusing Registration Process Drove Me Crazy

After signing up for a three-month period, our entire family was enrolled. When I needed to schedule an appointment, they claimed I hadn't registered. Their process is completely confusing and I'm at a loss for how they manage their operations.
