Terrible customer service at doctor's surgery nightmare

After enduring a grueling 60-minute phone wait on 17.06.2025 for an 8am slot, the receptionist was extremely brusque and unhelpful. She flatly refused to schedule a GP appointment, citing that I had previously used private services, essentially pushing me towards paying privately. The situation was completely absurd. She dismissively claimed my issue wasn't an emergency and that I'd have to wait two weeks anyway, which was utterly unacceptable. Her attitude was shockingly unprofessional and callous - particularly inappropriate for a medical practice. Her customer service was appallingly poor, and frankly, she seems unsuited to working in a doctor's surgery. To make matters worse, she informed me no appointments were available and instructed me to call back the following day. Fortunately, I'm not dealing with any mental health challenges that would make such treatment even more distressing.

Endless wait for firearms licence frustrates patient applicant

I sent in my firearms licence application during the initial days of December. Around the holiday season, they asked for payment, which I promptly settled on the spot. Initially, I was told the processing would take up to six weeks. However, we've now exceeded that timeline, and the only update I've received is that it's with a medical professional. I've been diligent in calling their office three times weekly to emphasize the urgency, yet no staff member can provide clarity on the status of my form or its progress. The entire experience has been incredibly frustrating.

Disappointing healthcare with poor communication and support

The personnel are adequate. However, over the past quarter: 1) When seeking a doctor's appointment, I'm repeatedly assigned a physician's associate with minimal clinical expertise, coupled with lengthy 2-3 week waiting periods, 2) The practice shuttered due to "winter pressures" - shouldn't there be increased staffing during challenging seasons?! Completely unacceptable, 3) Instructed to contact 111 because no medical staff were available during designated operating hours, 4) Extremely poor understanding and handling of mental health concerns, 5) A family member uncovered that multiple correspondence from a specialist recommending medication adjustments had been received and summarily disregarded without action. Thoroughly disappointing experience from start to finish.

Getting medical assistance from this general practitioner is a nightmare. Securing an appointment, even for pediatric care, feels like an uphill battle. The phone queue is excruciatingly lengthy, and despite waiting from the moment the office opens, you're still left without a scheduled consultation. Terrible vaccination experience with unhelpful staff

Extremely inefficient personnel at the vaccination check-in. They were unable to locate my name, mistakenly sent me to an incorrect line, and showed no remorse for their errors. This is undoubtedly the most poorly managed medical facility in the vicinity.

Terrible service and uncaring medical staff

My encounter with the Manor Practice Sutton Coldfield GP on 3/14/24 was incredibly frustrating. My wife, a nursing mother experiencing severe neck pain, urgently needed medical consultation. However, the practice was unwilling to offer an immediate appointment and callously suggested waiting until Monday to see a nurse. The complete disregard for what could be a critical medical situation is utterly unacceptable, and the call assistant's indifferent demeanor was deeply troubling. It's profoundly disappointing that the GP practice demonstrated such a cavalier approach to patient care, essentially pushing us to contact 111 and shirking their fundamental responsibility. This incident exposes a glaring deficiency in their medical service and seriously undermines confidence in their ability to provide prompt, compassionate healthcare support.
